Better than I expected!
Not sure if it’s because my expectations were set low as this was an impulse buy for me, but I really enjoy this knife. It’s not perfect, but nothing is. A little on the ninja side of things with the looks, now the pro’s do outweigh the cons. It’s light (especially if you remove the metal clip attachment) but it isn’t frail. The fit in hand is really nice and the knife feels better than it looks. It is a tanto with secondary tip, but the overall shape is more of a clip point vibe. It was decently sharp out of the box, it wasn’t the light saber that the seal pup was and the serrations seem a little messed up from their burr removal or polishing on the flat side. Balance is fantastic and the handle material feels very nice and secure for being a hard polymer. I’m sure what scares people away the most is the steel material vs the price. If you know you know… basic stainless steels are actually a fantastic choice for these type of knives and the sheath and mounting options provide a decent overall package to price ratio. I bought this to be a garden/garage utility knife and have quickly become attached to it (not sure if I’m experiencing a honeymoon phase or it’s because the knife is light and handy, but dare I say this may end up being one of my favorites). Time will tell on the overall durability, but I expect it to last a long time.

This SOG fixed blade knife is a good sharp, lightweight tool for Survival and every day carry.The metal full tang grip blunt end can be used for self-defense also.
