Using for temporary support to repair damaged structure. 4x4 posts fit very well with little movement. The base is bolted to spreader supports to carry the load and supported below in the basement. The screws are greased and just a tap of the hammer the screws lift. I’m lifting a quarter turn every 24 hours to prevent unnecessary movement to reduce cracking and popping. (I have the time). I have an inch and a quarter left. I purchased two sets and will purchase 2 additional sets so that multiple repairs can be made in a safe fashion. The welds are through, the paint is hardened and to screws are quality!

It is very sturdy. We used it in building our treehouse with a climbing wall.

Perfect brace for the header on the porch lift. I did have to shim for a 3” thickness (brackets are 3-1/2”) but the project was flawless and would recommend to anyone having a similar need.
