Good choice for me!
I had previous great experience with Lenovo quality laptops. I took a chance on a refurbished because the quality of hardware my software requires continue to climb.So far it has been everything I needed with the exception of the battery quality/life.

I ordered this 4 of these laptops for my children in April 2024 and just at the beginning of August 2024 one of the laptops screen started to glitch and would turn off on its own , when I restarted the laptop it would show it needed an upgrade but would never fully upgrade then it will turn off on its own , it has progressed to the screen being blank. And I can’t get support or return because return period is closed. The second laptop has refused to accept my daughter’s finger print which she has been using to login . This is really sad , bad product I don’t recommend

So far, no issues. The quality is pretty good, the screen is clear, the speed is fast, bright colors, battery life normal. My only disappointment is that the keyboard does not light up. I thought I was buying a laptop with keyboard lights so I can use when there isn't enough room light, but that wasn't the case - I bought the normal laptop by accident. I don't want to go through the process of sending this back and getting another laptop with keyboard lights, I'll just use this one.

Alright for the price
The laptop has great specs for the price, however the built in privacy screen absolutely destroys the viewing angles of the screen even when it’s turned off, making the IPS display pointless. Also came with an HP branded charger with a barrel jack to USB-C adapter which is an odd choice, would’ve much preferred a brand new charger for the extra 10 bucks it costs.

You can’t go wrong with ThankPad. This is a great line of laptops that are light and work well.

The laptop won't turn on
The media could not be loaded. Since I got the laptop, it has given me problems. It looks fine on the outside, but from the beginning it would freeze or shut down out of nowhere. Now, just a few weeks after I bought it, it won't turn on. It just makes a sound and the screen stays black. I hope you can fix this for me. I had previously ordered refurbished laptops and never had problems like this.
