What an amazing puzzle. Every piece of the animals has a beautiful picture on it. I have two grandsons aged two who had no difficulty with this puzzle at all. They were able to easily grip the pieces and place them in the proper spots. The puzzle piece is put in the slot and then you get the animal sound. Every animal's sound is perfect. The babies enjoy the dog and cat the most as they identify with them more than the other animals. This puzzle is strongly built and made of good quality wood. I have not needed to replace any batteries and the kids have played with it for hours on end. The only downfall is if you are missing a piece, when you turn on a light, the animal who is missing sound plays. We listened to the hamster sound for 6 months every time we turned on the lights. We finally found it. Melissa & Doug products are top quality and I would recommend this puzzle to anyone with little ones. It is a fabulous learning tool.

My daughter loved this, but there's no question this will annoy any parent after a while, as it constantly restarts each section over and over.

Habe das Puzzle für unsere zwei Söhne im Alter von 1 und 3 Jahren gekauft. Für den kleinsten ist es noch nix,für den großen schon . Das Puzzle selbst ist bei Lieferung lediglich in Folie verpackt. Auf der Rückseite befindet sich das Batteriefach,in welches Batterien müssen,welche nicht Bestandteil des Lieferumfangs sind. Das Puzzle selbst ist recht stabil verarbeitet. Der Grund warum nur drei Sterne : Zum einen find ich das völlig unnötig ,dass das Motiv ,welches auf dem Puzzleteil ist such nochmal auf der Platte ist. Bedeutet ,ein Kind muss nicht nach der Form von Puzzle und Aussparung auf der Platte schauen. Das Kind muss lediglich Bilder zurordnen. Ist das Kind alt genug um Bilder zuzuordnen,macht es das sich recht zügig.Wo wir dann beim nächsten Problem sind. Die einzelnen Geräusche ertönen nicht schnell genug. Bedeutet während mein Sohn schon wieder zwei andere Puzzle twile zugeordnet hat ertönt noch das Geräusch von dem Teil davor ...also völlig sinnlos irgendwie . Die Tonqualität ist jetzt auch nicht der Brüller. Die Gestaltung der einzelnen Motive ist schön. Kaufen würde ich es jedoch nicht mehr. Leider nur 3 Sterne ,sorry . Lieferung ging jedoch sehr schnell!
