I always used a digital scale to weigh my canisters before.. and to be honest probably will going forward too. This is neat, but a novelty in the scheme of life

Pros: it is easy to use and is much faster and more precise than using buoyancy to measure remaining fuel.Cons: Accuracy dwindles when the canister gets low. Mine shows 0% left when it is really about 1/8 full. But honestly, why would I take a canister 1/8 full in the back country with me? I wouldn't, so this a non-issue to me.I Recommend.

After you use a fuel can a few times, or if you boil more than the 2 cup “boils” you are just guessing what’s left. My estimates were completely wrong and I saved having to carry 2 canisters on a trip, when one with 67% or about 15 boils was plenty for two nights! Perfect!

Very important to see how much gas is left in Lindale valve gas cans . Small compact scale,easy to pack and digital results.
