I got these to support a basement trap door. They work, but it took a lot of trial and error on where to mount them. The instructions are not very clear and the calculation-measurements did not work as described. The actual positioning of the mounting brackets is also not clear on the instructions.

Nice replacement

I built some hefty folding stairs, thought I would need to support a bunch of weight, bought these and ended up returning them because they were so strong. They are well built and easy to figure out how to mount. One part of the bracket has a slightly oval hole, the other end is just round. The brackets themselves didn’t seem as strong as the supports would be capable of supporting.

Lasted 6 months I do not recommend this product.

Strut work pretty good but was difficult to put on because the clamp didn’t line up with my old one

I changed these in about 20 minutes, the pair that came with the trailer barely lifted the cardboard mattress that came with the trailer. I have a great mattress and struggled to lift the bed, but after I installed these I could lift the mattress with one finger! Great Value, and ease of operation! Thank you!
