Brilliant coffee grinder. After a bit of research decided to purchased this, and definitely haven't been disappointed. Easy to choose grind setting, fast and not too loud.

Great Grinder, But Some Build Quality Quibbles
I recently upgraded to the Baratza Encore ESP from the built-in grinder on my barista express, and the difference in my espresso has been night and day. This grinder truly is a game-changer if you're looking to improve your home espresso setup. The biggest improvement is the grind quality and control. The Encore ESP offers much more fine-grained adjustments, especially in the espresso range, which was exactly what I needed. Compared to the Barista Express's built-in grinder, the consistency and quality of the grounds from the Encore ESP are significantly better. This has made dialling in my espresso shots much easier and more precise. The result? Noticeably better-tasting espresso – smoother, richer, and more balanced. For the core function of grinding coffee for espresso, it's a fantastic upgrade. However, it's not perfect. I've noticed some issues with the build quality of certain parts. The bean hopper feels a bit wobbly when attached, and the hopper lid just sits on top with nothing really securing it in place – it feels quite loose. The most annoying issue is with the coffee grounds collection bin. It's also quite wobbly and actually vibrates and moves out of place during the grinding process. I find myself having to hold it steady with my hand to prevent grounds from spilling, which isn't ideal.Considering the price and the reputation of Baratza, I expected these accessory components – the hopper, lid, and grounds bin – to feel a bit more solid and secure.Overall:Despite the wobbles and the slightly flimsy feel of the hopper and grounds bin, the improvement this grinder has made to my espresso routine and the final taste in the cup is undeniable. It allows for much better control and consistency than my previous built-in grinder. If you can overlook the minor build issues with the plastic parts, the core grinding performance for espresso is excellent value.

Brilliant Baratza
Looking for a reasonably price grinder capable of grinding fine enough for Espresso coffee. (Not an easy task - some are £1000). This machine at about £150 is perfect. Well made, attractive in the kitchen, efficient, and most importantly grinds to the size I need, (and even finer.) A little noisy in operation, but easy to set and adjust as you need. Highly recommended, by me.

Love our coffee grinder
The coffee grinder is brilliant. It has lots of adjustments and grinds the coffee up consistently and evenly. It is quick and easy to clean. I find you do need to spray the coffee before hand with water or else there is quite a lot of static and the coffee does stick to the machine or flies out.

Selling used as new
My product arrived with missing and damaged parts. Asked for a replacement but Amazon refused, offering only a refund. I purchased during a sale so I'd have to pay extra to replace it. Grinder is great but consider purchasing it elsewhere.
