I am reviewing the Vitamatic Biotin 5000mcg (5 mg) for Stronger Hair, Skin & Nails - 365 Vegan Tablets- Also Called Vitamin B7My dermatologist recommends I take 10,000 mcg of Biotin daily. While this supplement requires me to take 2 tablets per day, that is still a six month supply for about $10.Since I was unfamiliar with this brand, I researched them. Vitamatic is a trademark owned by Proempire LLC in New Jersey. The trademark has been in use several years and Proempire is 10 years old. I find the longevity reassuring.I do have some concerns with this supplement. First, it has more ingredients than I am accustomed to seeing in my biotin supplements. Beet Root Extract is one. The purpose of this is unclear, since beet root is not a good source of biotin. Croscarmellose Sodium is another. I know the purpose of it is to help break down the tablet for digestion, but it is not present in my usual brand. Since there is a risk of side effects from this additive and no amount is provided, I have to wonder about the potential risk of this supplement over one that does not contain it.I will continue to use this bottle until I have used them up; but I will go back to my regular brand later.

Product has stopped my nails from splitting.

You can split them in half if you ant to. They don’t melt in my body in the way down.
