I tend to buy supermarket tinned prunes which have the stones removed but found the actual prunes not too be that good lately very small no real taste even on the dry side so when I saw reviews on the Amazon tins of own Prunes I thought I would give them a try. Well as soon as I opened the tin I could tell they were different they were plump, and juicy looking prunes compared to others I had tried previously and I cant believe I am writing about prunes however these were so good so tasty and yes sweet juice but not too sweet. Shame the prunes are not pitted as its a pain having stones in them but putting that aside these are really good the best I have tried for sure. So yes I do recommend you try these.

Since I decided to include tinned prunes with my breakfast, I have tried both branded and supermarket own and Amazon's match my tastes best. You may prefer something different so I'll share what I like about these particular ones: I've bought about 10 tins so far and the quality has been consistent, they are average size with normally 15 or 16 fruits per can. The flesh is soft and easily separated from the stone, maybe 1 in 10 will not come away totally cleanly. The juice is very sweet and fairly thick, more like a light syrup. I'll not touch on the technical detail, you can read this for yourself on the can.
