Yealink Color-Screen Expansion Module for T5 Series

Exactly as expected, Works well, Easy to program, No surprises.

I am using this with a MP56-Teams. It did not recognize it on the phone out of the box, but after a firmware update (pushed through the Teams Admin interface), all is working great.

Great addition to my Yealink phone. Now it's very easy to manage and add a contact for speed dial. Will buy one again for an other phone.

I purchased this for our receptionist at our corporate office as we have close to 60 extensions that she wanted to be able to monitor. This expansion module more than covered that and has the same ease of installation and configuration as the T5 series phones from Yealink. It has vibrate color and the BLF functions are quite nice. The ONLY and MAJOR drawback to this device is Yealink didn't have the foresight to allow the same Extended Label length on the Line keys on this module that they do on the phones. What this means functionally is you are limited to at most 10 characters per line key. While you can enter more characters than that they are truncated and you can't see them. Why this is an issue? You are forced to basically choose to either input extension numbers or people's first names and maybe a last initial. That might work for most customers but personally I'd like to be able to see 2 lines of text per line key like what is possible on the phone itself. That way you can have a name on top line and extension on the lower line. I looked at Yealinks own community board and several other resources and many many people have asked for an update to fix this for over 2 years and Yealink will not address it. So other than that you'll have a solid addition to your phone system if you choose to buy one of thse.

Gerade wenn man mehrere Telefone und viele Durchwahlen, Partnerlines oder Funktionen steuern muss, spart es extrem viel Zeit und Nerven. Für mich ein absolut geiles Produkt, das ich jedem empfehlen kann, der seinen Arbeitsplatz ergonomischer und professioneller gestalten möchte. 💡 Fazit: Nie wieder ohne – das EXP50 ist für mich die perfekte Erweiterung, um meinen Arbeitsalltag noch strukturierter und effizienter zu gestalten. Klare Kaufempfehlung!

If you use ms teams and want a sidecar your choices are yealink or audiocodes This unit works well but still not sure if ms code is beta or rtm still Last time I tested worked well for me but end user hit known ms bug Key target of device is reception etc
