It is possible to replace a cell phone battery yourself with careful patience and a YouTube video. This kit actually had more tools than the task required. The battery is an exact OEM match and has been working perfectly.

i ordered this particular kit because it is specific to my phone. i assumed that meant that everything in the kit is correct. however none of the given screwdrivers are the size i need to take off the plate inorder to get the battery out. i have been forced to order another kit off of amazon that has the right torx that i need. i need it asap as i need to have my phone back up running so i can get back to work. therefore i ordered a same day kit that cost me even more and in order to be eligable for the same day delivery for free i had to purchase at least $25 in eligable items. so that is $25 more i had to spend that i was not anticipating having to. my advice is to do full research on exactly what you would need before ordering the kit. i cannot speak on the accuracy and longevity of the battery yet as i cant get the old one out to replace it. The battery is draining almost twice as fast as my old bad battery was even though it advertises being a stronger upgraded version and is taking much longer to charge.

I know that stating that I could not use this and then I review it seems silly but I write this so that someone might take time to examine their phone to see if it will open easily so that it can be used. I don't claim to be very techie. Just ask my son. I found out that my old phone is glass. I didn't know that they made phones that are all glass! It fell apart when we were opening it. I found out recently that phones expire also. They control more than we think that they do! My phone already expired in less than a year and wasn't working right! They were late in sending me an update! Another first! I saved the little tools for we have more gadgets from China! Who doesn't!

Easy install - much easier than Iphone. Direct replacement for for Motorola stylus 'G'. I recommend watching a Youtube - but it is much easier than other batteries I've done. The battery seems to deliver capacity where I live, when I'm out of town (for some reason) it will show close to full charge and then just shut off, I have to hook up to charger to get it going again. I think that must be phones hardware or software. Could be due to a low "c" rating on battery - don't know. I'll have to call this one 4 stars.

This battery might be fine, but I was not able to find out. I tried to replace my old battery, but did not succeed in doing so. I heated the back up thoroughly, trying both a hair dryer on low, then on high, and when that didn't work, I tried an embossing heater that blows hot air in a very directed way. The adhesive would not release and/or the suction cup was not powerful enough (just kept popping off). The problem might be that my phone was excessively overheated one record-setting summer day and perhaps that liquified the adhesive and it oozed all around the inner side of the back and created too strong a bond. Anyway, that's why I don't know if the battery is good or not, but the kit did not work in my case in order for me to find out.
