As a parent, I am such a happy camper when I find toys that my children love playing but also help them learn at the same time! The GeoSafari Talking Telescope is a MUST HAVE toy for your little one. Did you know that astronauts don't eat bread in outer-space? Neither did I! It also includes multiple images of space, planets, and stars that provides visuals that will enhance and develop your child's visual perception.I really enjoyed using this toy with my kids. They thought it was entertaining and were extremely fascinated with all of its functions. The GeoSafari Talking Telescope kept my kids engaged and amused for a long period of time. What mother doesn't love that?As a parent, I am always looking for a toy that can stimulate my kid's minds as well as engage them in fun play. I think that this toy accomplished this goal. I love hearing my kids recite back the facts they learned. It gives me great joy to know that they are learning from play. I was also very impressed with the 365 days - love it or return it policy. Educational Insights really gets behind their products and I can appreciate that!

My kids (ages 3.5 and 5.5) love this telescope! They kept saying it’s so cool as they looked through all the different images of the space, planets and stars. They are at an age where they are starting to get really curious about the solar system so they ask a ton of questions. We love how this talking telescope teaches them 5 facts about each image. The telescope is the perfect size for preschoolers and it is the perfect way to introduce them to space. I love how after they have learned everything, there is a quiz mode (with 5 questions for each image!) that they can do. Also it is pretty cool that the audio can be switched to 4 different languages and the guide is also multilingual. The telescope is high quality and durable and I know my kids will be using this for a while. It is also teaching them to take turns and share since they have to wait their turn. Highly recommend for your toddlers and preschoolers as they start to learn about the solar system.

We are surprised by just how much our Nephew's 3 year old kid loves this "telescope". The kid is an astronomy nerd and takes this thing with him everywhere and sleeps with it. It is very educational and interactive, but most of all FUN. He cracks up over the "robot" giving silly wrong answers to questions, so he can correct it. And no standing out in freezing cold nights, trying to get a kid excited about seeing a dot of light as a slightly larger dot of light with a real telescope. Any kid with a glimmer of an interest in astronomy will love this toy. It is basically an interactive viewer that looks like a telescope.

One of my daughter’s favorite toys. Good quality, very easy to assemble. It has a clear picture when you look in it and it’s so educational and informative.

I bought this Junior Telescope for my great niece. She loves it.

My four year old daughter really enjoys astronomy and learning facts about outer space so she really enjoyed that this telescope was a talking telescope with different slides that tells her different facts about outer space. There is also a question mode in which the telescope asks questions and you see if you get the correct answer. I think this is great for kids and even a great size for little ones the only reason I gave it three stars though is because the eyepiece came broken. I still put the batteries and let my daughter see it while holding the eyepiece for her but was disappointed that it is broken and eyepiece won't stay on its own.

*not a real, functioning telescope * * more like a viewfinder on a tripod with a telescope shape attached to it *beautiful photos of the planets and other space related images Even though this product is for age 4+, I had to buy it for my daughter who was 2 (almost 3) years old. One of her favorite things right now are planets and outer space, so I wanted to introduce her to the concept of a telescope and to be able to see real NASA photos/close up images of the planets. She absolutely loves this product, and is so fascinated with all the images. She’s still a little too young to pay attention to the facts as narrated by the telescope or to do any of the quizzes, but I’m sure she’ll grow into it and will eventually take advantage of all the features it has to offer. She is 3 now and we’ve had this product about 4 months and she is still very much interested in playing with it. Unlike some other reviewers, I was fortunate to receive this telescope in perfect condition.

My 4 year old thinks he’s playing a video game (so he actually asks to play with it!) while I think he’s leaning about planets and outer space. Win-win! It’s a view-finder style telescope (not one you actually see real life with). The images are sharp and clear, the voice is soothing (unlike many of his obnoxious other toys)! I appreciate that it’s a quiet activity that encourages his focus. Set up right out of the box was easy- just stick the legs in and play! It is slightly fragile, so I would recommend keeping it away from younger siblings! But my 4 year old understands how to treat it nicely.

I was sceptical about purchasing it so many said it’s flimsy and can be broken but it’s a quite robust material. My 3yr old absolutely loves it! The only is I keep experiencing is my little ones finger strength is not so high so I need to turn the reel for her to change the image. Otherwise absolutely great times with it!!
