I bought a Dyson V15. There are a lot of attachments. This is a great way to store them where I can actually see what I have. It is stable enough to hold the vacuum and remove it easily. I am very happy that they make stuff like this and that it is not expensive.

Unit is nice but the 4 screws to hold the stand to the base were 1 short in the parts bag

This is a metal stand. Very well built. Fairly easy to put together. I had one part that the holes didn't line up perfect but was able to use power drill and the screws to tighten. Holds all the accessories for your vacuum. I don't have a Dyson but a knock off Dibea and it works perfect with it.

Holds the v15 very well. The only problem is that the plastic clip provided from dyson does not hold well on the metal stand and slides to the bottom with any weight.

Fit my V8 Absolute just fine and seems quite stable. I am able to take the vacuum on and off the docking station without holding onto the stand itself.The hooks can be placed on either the left or right, and you can even choose for each section individually. However you must stack the sections in the order specified, bottom to top: 2 hooks, 3 hooks, and 1 hook sections. My layout just happened to be better with all hooks on the left, but if you wanted more clearance you could swap just the middle section to the opposite side so you ended up with 3 hooks that had a large amount of vertical clearance above. The top section has holes on both sides to mount the docking station. Also as you can see in the attached photo, I was able to continue to use the two additional accessory attachment points on the docking station itself.The vertical position of the hooks cannot be adjusted, they are welded onto the post. There is also no included cord management for the charging plug and you cannot place the wire inside the post. I was also unable to get the charging plug through the hole in the docking station with the docking station fully mounted, but I just needed to mostly loosen the screws holding it on and did not need to take it off completely. The instructions don't include any suggestions on which of the mounting holes to use for each type of docking station, but my V8 docking station used the bottom and 2nd from the top holes. I think you mostly just want to use the holes that roughly align the docking station with the top of the post.They could've made putting it together a lot easier by pre-installing the plates that hold the post sections together on one section out of the box. Currently you need to hold onto the plate while trying to get the initial screw into it (and not drop it into the post). The screws for this part are also twice as long as they need to be which means twice as much screwing as would've been necessary to put it together. The plates are obviously a shared or off the shelf part as you do not use the middle screw hole in the plates.
