The package is just what one needs to start a wormer aside from the container which I already had. The worms were plentiful, mobile and to my eye a healthy bunch, they got down to home making as soon as the bag was opened into the coir. Essentially very happy with the purchase.

The lids and trays don’t fit well and have gaps big enough for the worms to escape. And that is what they did so don’t use this inside! For outside use the wooden handle and legs are not so useful.I found it tricky to get the moisture balance right and the soil ended up very soggy, but will give that a try again.Sadly many worms ended up in the sump as well, because of the gaps between trays, and drowned.Sump and tap for draining the worm tea worked very well though and container for it fitted well. Not sure how long the worm tea container lasts because it is made from very brittle plastic.Overall I found the product overpriced for its flaws. But it looks nice…
