Excellent deterrent
Using two of these as badger deterrents. Scares the critters away fast. Set for night-time IR with the barking dog / gunshot sound. Marvellous.

Scary!
I use it to keep deer off our flower bed. I have it in “werewolf howling” mode. Unfortunately it scares the hell out of my gardener too. 😂

Exceptionally Loud!
The media could not be loaded. There’s no denying this thing is loud and would stop anything in its tracks that went near it offering great protection and security. It’s easy to set up and operate and has a variety of sounds. The volume can be adjusted as well as the settings and thankfully it can be automatically muted at night. The remote has a great range and I can change the modes from the inside of my house pointing it out to the garden. It’s great! I cannot fault its effectiveness and functionality. It charges well in limited sunlight and triggers on motion. I’ve had it outside for three days and nights now in a variety of weather without issue. However what you need to consider is the following, initially I was going to mount in on my back fence but it’s rather sensitive and kept being triggered by shrubs moving in the wind. As most houses in the UK, my garden is surrounded by 3 others and although it’s very loud and effective as a cat deterrent, I’m also aware the neighbours are not going to want this going off at full volume constantly. I have therefore placed it on a chair near the area where the cat (not mine) keeps pooping on my grass marking its territory, in an attempt to reduce false alarms. This gadget would be perfect for a garage or more remote property but is maybe less suited to housing estates unless you’re prepared for complaints. You can adjust the volume but then it’s not as effective at scaring away the intended nuisance. At 35.99 at time of review, considering the functions it offers and volume, I think it’s value for money. Due to the nature of this product and the weather we experience in the UK, should this product stop working within a six month period, I will always return and update my reviews so they remain factual and reliable.

loud and flashy
I originally thought that you chose one sound from the 13 to go off when motion was detected, to alert you of potential intruders. But no. My husband positioned it on the corner of our shed so anyone scaling our side gate would trigger this. A cat was the first victim and all 13 sounds came out of it, one after the other. Well, it certainly did the trick of scaring the unwanted visitor off but had to come down a week later when we had high winds and rain and it was going off every few minutes. Not wanting to annoy the neighbours by it going off all night (we sleep at the opposite end of the house!) we reluctantly had to take it down. But it will go back up again when next we go away. If the neighbours are alerted at least they will (hopefully) ring the police and maybe a real intruder will be caught next time

Really noisy
I have this sitting on a pole in my garden facing the rabbit burrows from which the pests emerge to dig holes and be generally destructive. To date the only times it has gone off is when I have deliberately passed in front of it, just for the fun of hearing the barking dogs and gunshots. This is but one item in its repertoire of sounds. There are thirteen different choices and you can add your own. The unfortunate fact is that whatever animals you are trying to scare away will become habituated to the noise, so change to a new one. There are also three noise levels and the loudest is very loud indeed. I'm feeling rather guilty that I'm not using this alarm to its best advantage. The advertising shows a variety of wild beasts being driven away so there should be no problem deterring my rabbits.Provided this alarm is sited where sunshine can reach it the built-in solar cells should keep it charged but there is also a facility to top up using a USB charger during periods of prolonged cloud cover. If you are troubled by wild pigs or elephants, or even rabbits, you could consider trying this PIR alarm.
