Big league lights!
Halo comes into the high end light market with their guns blazing! Before you even open the box you can tell thought and care was put into this light set. The box is beautifully designed and starts to justify the high cost. Once opened you get the lights are displayed right in the box. They are extremely well packaged, but you get to see them right away. The lights themselves are really high quality. I have used and been around high end lights and have had a good share of Chinese knock offs. The knock offs always have some kind of way they cheaper out. Whether it’s poor powder coating, bad assembly, cheap metal you get the idea. These however are made to noticeably high quality standards. They really look perfect, even if you go over them with a fine tooth comb. The most important aspect, is they are bright. All the different light modes can be easily cycled through and have their place. They could be used at night, in fog, in several variations. The throw is very good. These are spot lights, but they do offer some flood light coverage. In a way, these are very focused though, so if you need a wide coverage then the floods might be a better option. The only thing I didn’t love was the button. It’s very nice and weather resistant, but I wish there was an easy way to wire it into an existing dash switch so they could match and still cycle through the modes. It may be possible, and I’m not dismissing it yet, but the button is hardwired to the harness so you would need to do some work to dismantle it.The kit comes with a good array of extras too. Nice thick brackets with hardware, the amber lense covers and black lense protectors. It also has a really nice, fully loomed harness with a button and what I presume is some kind of smart board for the modes and LED’s. The wire is nice and thick and really good quality. These are also connected via a Deutsch style plug so the lights don’t need to be hardwired. This makes them easy to remove if needed. The lense covers clip on pretty well. Time will tell if they can possibly shake off. They are secure, but they come off very easily so I wouldn’t be shocked if they were able to shake off.Overall, these seem to justify their price in most ways. Although they are made in china, they are obviously under tight quality control and churning out a great product that competes with the big dogs for a little less. Yes, they are expensive, but motorsports are an expensive hobby and buying cheap means buying twice.. or more. I’m very happy with these and am excited to run them on my new crawler build.Oh.. and they come with stickers!

May inspire "Close Encounters" type reactions.
Have you seen the movie "Close Encounters of the Third Kind"? There is a scene where Richard Dreyfus' character is sitting in his truck at some railroad tracks, and a UFO comes up behind him, and turns its lights on. I'm pretty sure the aliens in that scene were running Halos. And the scene at the farmhouse with Barry and his mom? Pretty sure the aliens were lighting them up with Halos there, too. Pretty sneaky, using alien tech, Novsight. Pretty sneaky. While all of this is certainly done for a bit of fun, the fact is these lights are insanely bright and fantastically made. It comes with everything you need (including some nice Deutsch-style connectors going to the lights themselves), and there are some options about how you hook them up. The "default" way, is to hook the wires syncing the headlights and DRL's to the Halos. I think I'm going to change that, however, and hook those up to a switch panel so I can control the light's functions independently of the vehicle's lights. In fact, a switch panel is really the way to go with these lights. That way you can forego hooking them up to your battery (usually a recipe for corrosion later on, anyway) and just run everything into your switch panel.Amazon happens to sell many different switch panels from many different manufacturers (from 4 gang to 12 gang). While you can certainly enjoy these lights hooked up the "default way", personally I recommend the switch panel route, because it gives you a lot more flexibility and control.I did want to touch, if ever so briefly, on the wonderful packaging these lights come in, by the way. I have a Dell gaming laptop (if a bit of an older one), and the box these Halo lights comes in, was a far cooler, flashier box than the one my gaming laptop came in. Love the design of it all, guys. Home run. They also apparently have 99.9% MAX Flintiness! Compared to, say, 40% or 20% Flintiness! Now, I don't know about you, but I want to go into a store somewhere now and ask questions about the "flintiness" of their products."Excuse me, my good man. Might I trouble you for a moment?""Yes, of course sir. How may I help you?""These socks...do they have a good bit of flintiness about them?""Hmm. Only after you've worn them for a few days, I expect."So, yeah. 99.9% MAX flintiness. That's something you can rest assured of right there. These lights are just...amazing. They're bright, they're built like TANKS, the look...um, Close Encounters. To me, that's enough right there. Strap these on your vehicle, and don't be surprised if Barry chases you across the field looking for ice cream.

WOW
These lights are amazing and super bright. The halos are really cool and its nice to have them amber or white depending on preference. The shape of the 3'' is really neat and unique. The hardware is great and the mounting bracket are strong, i think the bolt to hold the bracket down could be a bit bigger as the one it comes with is rather small, but it has been holding strong for about a week + now and that's with highway speeds and offroad bumps and branches hitting them. also a really cool feature is the amber and black covers which clip on in a second with sturdy tabs. All and all these are great, the price is up there for sure but the quality and performance is worth it in my opinion. 10/10

Cool and unique
These LED pod lights are very cool and unique. Each of the pair looks like a big and fat X, and you can choose from just white or yellow by adding a yellow cover to it.At 120W these are bright but won't blind the coming traffic. Best to use for off-road but can also be used normally on-road. Includes all kits and instructions for easy installation which will need some wiring and mounting as expected.Price is not cheap but have to pay for quality and coolness. If this is in your budget, you won't be disappointed.

Super bright
I go a lot of offroading at the night, so decided to get this pair of lights, and I love them. It's very simple to install them since they are like plug and play and the mounts are very durable. It comes with a cover and yellow filter which I like it. In addition the led light on these lights are super bright and in the dark you can see clearly about 500 ft. As it's described they are completely waterproof and weather resistant which I really need that while offroading. Highly suggested.
