Recently, I had the pleasure of trying Never Better Foods Better Than Cheddar cheese alternative. We tried this product on tacos and for vegan mac & cheese. Some vegan cheeses can be overly rubbery or grainy, but this one has a smooth and velvety texture that melts beautifully when heated. It's perfect for creating gooey, stretchy cheese pulls that are reminiscent of traditional dairy cheese.Better Than Cheddar is a winner in my book. With its delicious taste, creamy texture, and wholesome ingredients, it's a standout option for anyone looking to enjoy the cheesy goodness of dairy cheese without the animal products.

I am a kosher recipe creator and am always looking for nondairy substitutes that I can use with meat. This "cheese" absolutely does it for me. It actually tastes like cheese. I've used it a few times for guests and no one suspected it was nondairy. Everyone thought the dishes I made (cheese burger, grilled cheese and roasted vegetable sandwich, soup topping) were delicious. For some dishes I would prefer slices of this "cheese" rather than shreds, but for now, it is a big "find."

I tried this cheese on tacos and chili and thought it acted and tasted very similar to regular shredded cheese! I even brought it to a potluck with people who weren't vegan, and everyone tried some. No on had anything bad to say about it, but my favorite comment was "I can tell it's trying very hard to be cheese." Would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a dairy-free alternative to shredded cheese.

The package is small, and expensive for how much you get but you think, hey if it tastes good?It has a slimy feel and the texture is like rubber. Almost no taste. It does melt, so that part is true. Made a Toasted cheese sandwich and it had just no flavor.

Flavor and texture is great for a plant based cheese! It is difficult to hit it right on the money, when replacing dairy cheese with vegan. However, this brand fits the bill perfectly for us. the taste is good, the texture is right for us. We will purchase again!

I used this Never Better Cheddar on top of a taco dip. So good!! Everyone devoured it. I also love Never Better on a grilled cheese. It melts perfectly! It has a mild, similar to cheddar flavor. It also smells like cheese. It’s not clumpy or sticky. This is a great dairy free cheese option!

The quality may be good, the taste also is acceptable as its a vegan option. But looks like the product which is delivered comes without refrigeration. I am not happy considering its not cold when delivered and is shipped without any cold environment as it may take several days to deliver after the shipment.
