Works great, really simple to use, has many feature

My wife has good intentions. Typically, she will buy new or plant existing flower planters on our patio. At first, she will water them diligently. But by July, this job gets forgotten and they eventually die. Then I either live with ugly planters for the rest of the summer or we spend the money and time to put in replacement flowers.My wife saw a watering kit at Home Depot and bought it. But it still needed to be connected to a hose and water turned on. I knew that that would not happen on its own, so I found this affordable, battery powered timer that I could attach to the hose bib. It worked great all summer and the flowers stayed alive!

I’d like to say these work perfectly, but they are slightly difficult to operate programmed vs manual. Don’t get me wrong, they do the dob, but there is certainly a learning curve on these to get the program exactly right. I’d likely buy them again, if necessary. It’s an inexpensive solution to use with an inexpensive system, which is exactly what we needed under our circumstances.If you are looking for a long lasting, high quality system, then you might want to consider more heavy duty equipment.

Zero stars. Does not work.Apparently, it is not possible to get zero stars, which is exactly what this item deserves.DOES NOT WORK.In fact, just to be excruciatingly clear (and rule out the possibility that it was "user error") -- even when it says "OFF" - water is still on and passing through. For this item – off does not mean off. It can't be turned off the only way to turn off the water is to turn off the spigot which defeats the purpose of having a timer.New batteries were used. It simply does not work. Do not buy this. Trust me.UPDATE:It turns out that the timer does work – just not when there is very low water pressure.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Worked great for one year. One still works for the second season but other two do not follow programming and continuously run.

The media could not be loaded. Buy it! Simpler than my 60 dollar ones. Does exactly the same job turns on and off the way I set it
