Love this product because it prevents hair from getting tangled in the shower drain cover. Makes cleaning so much easier.

Like that they are very effective in keeping hair out of the drain and pests from entering the shower.

This does an excellent job of capturing hair! However, the fine mesh prevents proper drainage. We tried these in both our stand alone shower and in a bathtub shower combo. Both were filled with a significant amount of water after just a few minutes with these in place. I thought it was the hair blocking proper drainage; so the next shower I cleared it every few minutes but the same thing happened, water up over the top of my feet in a shower that NEVER does that. Removal leaves ALL of the sticky stuff behind. It took 3 rounds of soaking with goo-gonE, letting it sit, and attacking with my most aggressive scrubber and then I gave up and got a butter knife to scrape off all the residue. My drain has never looked so clean hahaha. Concept is good but these created more problems than they solved. Pass.

This does strain. It does block debris. It also blocks water. The mesh is too fine and the water can't really flow through it. I can't use them.

Why didn’t I know about these hundreds of plumbing dollars ago!

This is a finer screen than others and it therefore clogs with soap scum and the shower water doesn't drain.

Leaves a lot of silicone/rubberish material upon removal, very tedious to remove the residuals from surface. For that reason cannot recommend.
