These tatami mats are so comfortable that you can almost forget that you're sitting on the floor. I use mine on an often cold concrete basement floor and find it very warming and soft. I was worried about the thickness being a trip hazard for passing traffic, but it turned out not to be a problem. Putting a table, or using floor chairs, on the mat can leave dents or depressions in the foam but they all seem to return to normal after a little bit. Also found it very easy to vacuum.My family has fallen in love with this mat, so I will be ordering again.

As a first time parent we purchased a few play mats for our little one. Most were too thin and cheap. We found this one and actually ended up ordering two because they are so great. Super plush and soft- exactly what you want for a baby on the go or a new roller or sitter. Any time our little one bumped or rolled the plushness absorbed the bonk resulting in a laughing baby and relieved mama. Easy to clean, sturdy and looks nice. Quite pleased!

We bought this to put under our son's sensory swing in his room. It took 3-4 days for the foam to fully expand so be patient if you notice it still looks warped after just a day or two. I also used a steamer to remove the creases from the outer layer and that worked very well. The foam and outer layer are cushiony and soft, making it a very cozy mat for kids to play on. It also holds up well to vacuuming. Our son's room has a lot of navy blue so we went with the green mat to add some contrast and my husband and I agree it looks great.

I bought this Matt for my baby who started crawling. Hoping it would give him some cushion for any falls. It is definitely not as thick as advertised. I put two carpets that I already had under the Matt just to make it cushiony enough for my baby. Other than the thickness I love the Matt and so does my baby, comfortable to sit or lie on. It is also not to practical to clean. I haveto hand wash it basically every night to make sure it doesn’t get dirty as my baby still spits up quite a bitt.
