So good that while I was using it, husband came over with his dry heels and got them done too. It charged in less than 30 minutes straight out of the box. When the light turned green, to indicate full charge, we did both pairs of our heels and the battery held up no problem. Granted, it was our first grooming with an electric tool, so we probably spent more time using it than someone who uses this on maintenance. Love the 3 different heads. We used the most rough one to take off the serious build up, then use the most fine head to smooth out the whole foot. Press the button on the side and the heads pop right off. The tool also has 2 speed settings. It is not too fast or too rough, although I slipped and accidentally ground down my manicure. Next time, I would use nitrile gloves to save my nails. We also bought the Dr. Scholl's version, which only has a single head and with rough roller only. The Dr. Scholl's one is battery powered and not rechargeable. It is stronger than this tool, but it doesn't have as much heads options and also, this is a easier grip compared to the pen shaped one from Dr. Scholls. After the session, we wiped our feet with a damp towel. Applied some hydrating foot cream after. We tried one from Goldbond and another from Grocerism, and the winner for that battle is

SUPRISE! This device works! I figured it was inexpensive, so I didn’t have high expectations. WOW! WORTH EVERY DIME! I usually soak my feet and use a specific pumice to break down dead skin on my heels, etc.. It’s hard work. Now, I make sure the unit is charged, which it does very quickly and surprisingly well. Then, while watching TV at night, I pop this little callus grinding and sanding unit on and simply run it over my heels and any part of my feet that is dry. It makes QUICK WORK of removing CALLUSES and leaves my feet smooth and soft, ready for a moisturizer and socks.

Just got this and used it once. It certainly does what I want it to do (and, in my opinion, is superior to pumice stone, file, cheese-grater thing, etc.), so that's all right. I have the same disappointment as other reviewers here, though: the battery is pretty feeble. I'll keep it, as it's not expensive, but will be on the lookout for something that runs a little longer on one charge.

This electric callus remover is very easy to use and feels comfortable to hold. It removes rough skin gently without being too harsh. I like that it’s rechargeable and comes with different heads. After using it, my feet felt smoother and more refreshed. Great for at-home self-care

I needed this to work on a toe that had become spontaneously and grievously wounded due to my growing Type II diabetes. I didn’t even do anything to hurt it, for cryin’ out loud!!! Ya gotta be smart, face reality and take care of these things- like RIGHT NOW! Otherwise, it can lead to amputated toes and other fondly held appendages! 'They' don't often talk about that (I don't know why!) but it is VERY common nowadays with the growing obesity and unhealth of us Americans! By the way, -Thank You so much, Bobby Kennedy-, for devoting your life to fixing chemical agriculture, pharmaceutical abuse and the broken health care system!!! (To be fair, there are also many wonderful things about modern science and medical care- but ya gotta think for yourself and not take EVERYTHING on its face!) I had no idea Bobby Kennedy was such a wonderful human being! I have been enlightened! Check out his YouTube channel to behold some AMAZING information! I KNOW that this would have SURELY ended up in amputation had I not handled it. It was ridiculously bad! I don't know about you, but I'm not a huge fan of amputation! I've even heard of a doctor who was in denial about his diabetes and lost a FOOT to the insidious condition! His own nurse relayed that unbelievable tale to me! So, NONE of us are immune to denial. Even doctors! Pay attention Pilgrim! I went to the foot doctor and besides antibiotics, salves and other devices of cruelty, (Heh) they used a similar device as this sander on every visit to pare down the calluses and shedding nastiness of my toe. I have the before picture and I still can’t really believe it! It’s too gross to upload here. ‘They’ would probably DELETE it! I now use this little sander very successfully for regular maintenance. I also went to an MD and was prescribed insulin (my blood sugar was ridiculously high) which has allowed the toe to REMAIN healed and has resulted in numerous other lovely benefits. The needles are tiny nowadays and you don’t even feel it. I actually enjoy injecting myself twice a day because I have experienced all the benefits. They also gave me a thing that attaches to the back of my arm (outa sight and outa mind) and has a little wireless device (like a mini cellphone) that tells me my blood sugar just by pressing a button. No more finger pricks to read blood sugar and I can check it quickly, anytime during the day which is so cool. It’s called a Dexcom and Medicare completely covered it! But it’s still worth it even if you have to pay through the nose. There are other programs to help pay for it too… Just ask. But anyway, this sander is pretty quick and powerful (be careful!) and I highly recommend it!!! Of course, this is also a MARVELOUS and quick tool to pare down ordinary calluses and corns too!!! Much faster than standing uncomfortably in the shower and sanding ad-infinitum with one of those files! Now I just recline on the couch and sand quickly every once in a while. I can honestly say that this little sanding device has made my life better! Cheers and stay positive!!!

You could get a rhinoceros as smooth as an egg with this thing. Doesn’t hurt. Just extremely effective. The 3 stages of coarseness are helpful & effective. It’ll get the job done. (Signed, chronic cracked heals now totally smooth & relieved). Well worth the cost. Easy to hold. Easy to use. The “on” button is a bit hard to slide, but not so difficult as to merit any kind of down rating. Worth it.

This is a good product that I do recommend, especially as you can remove the files to wash clean. If used discerningly by starting with the medium file to begin with for a few minutes on both the soles of feet and then switching to the fine file for another few minutes it the ideal way to use them at night before bed. Follow it by rubbing in some shea butter into the soles to moisturize them and then put on a pair of cotton socks with a view to achieving the goal of soft nourished soles. I found that I required only the medium & fine rollers, as the coarse file is too rough. Filing the soles twice a week is adequate, however try to rub in some shea butter every night is best and you wont need a pedicure for three weeks. If the manufacturer would sell replacement file heads, that would be so helpful.
