Now this is a good chair! My husband needed a sturdy and easily portable chair for our son's sports events. Very glad to have gotten this one as he's comfortable in it and likes that it doesn't feel all wibbly wobbly like a lot of the collapsible chairs out there. It's also compact enough that he can just keep it on the back of his car.

This chair is very very sturdy as the other people have said. It doesn't look to be all that sturdy when you first look at it oh, but it is. I was a little skeptical about buying it because I am a big guy (6'2" 270 lbs) and I have had a couple strokes. Therefore I flop down when I sit. Having a chair to sit in that can take me flopping down is very very important. This chair doesn't even budge The other thing I like about it is the width between the arms. I have a Chihuahua mix dog that likes to sit in my lap and sprawl out so there is a bunch of room for him as well. The other thing I will mention, as others have, is that it does not have that bar going across underneath your legs, cutting off the circulation. That makes sitting in it for an extended period of time quite comfortable. So if you are a big person who sits down with UMPH, this chair is for you. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention the cup holder and the storage pocket. The cup holder is very roomy, and is lined in plastic, as opposed to being mesh. Seems to be rather strong. The little pocket and the zippered cell phone holder is pretty cool, but I have not had an opportunity to use it yet. I highly recommend this chair!

Pros: Comfortable even if you're very tall, like me at 6'5". Seems very sturdy. Carrying bag is convenient. Cons: The back side of the arms slide down when you rest your arms on them. It seems like they're supposed to be held in place by tension, but they are not. I had to put some tape around the pole to keep them from sliding down.

At 6' 2" / 250lbs I was tired of trying to find a folding chair the lasted more than a few events. This chair is build to last. The seat is higher off the ground which is nice and is far more sturdier than other chairs rated to 300lbs. The seat itself is wider and easily fits a couple of kids (2-10 year olds) or a big guy like me. 2019 - **Follow-up** I've had 2 of these chairs now almost 2 years. Between the kids volleyball, waterpolo, wresteling, swim team seasons, family outtings and neighborhood get togethers, these chairs are withstanding the usage. The cross joints in the front and back have strated to roll slightly but are still sturdy and I'm not affaid of them giving way anytime soon. There are no signs of wear on the seat or arms. The only item that has worn out is the little red zip-tie lock on the chairs travel bag (it broke)... When these chairs eventually wear out, I will purchase again. 2021 **Follow-up Part 2** Well it’s been over 4 years since I bought two of these chairs and they are still holding up. I am absolutely impressed with the quality and their durability. This is a home run purchase for the big and tall guys out there. IF these chairs ever break down I will purchase again without hesitation. 2023 - Wow! Over 6 years and these chairs are STILL going strong. I literally cannot believe it, but it’s 100% true. Hands down the greatest purchase I’ve ever made on Amazon. I wish I had this much luck with everything I buy. My friends all have these chairs now and not a single one has ever failed. I’m now over 300lbs (thanks Covid) and these chairs don’t let me down.

I wanted a higher quality chair than the ten dollar chairs in a bag from the big box stores. I purchased the chair and liked it so much I bought a second one when I need one for a friend. This chair is made in a careful way with high quality materials. The fabric is double layer and it has a drain in the middle of the seat. The cup holder looks insulated with a plastic material and a drain in it. Every grommet is sewn with multiple stitching and high quality materials. You will be impressed by the chair. It is big and comfy as others have noted. I take this chair to a waterfront park several days a week in the afternoon. It is made out of steel and high quality material so it is heavier than the $10 chairs you get at a big box store. It weighs about ten pounds. It is not a problem to walk it a quarter of a mile or more but you would not want to take it on a hike. The seat hight is higher than the ten dollar folding chair and you can get your feet under yourself when you stand up. The arms are sturdy if you need to push up. I am 5'8'' and my feet touch the ground without a problem. It is a great chair.

I really like this chair! I’m very curvy and the regular folding chairs always feel so flimsy and like if I made a sudden movement the chair will break. This chair though? Super sturdy, lightweight, didn’t budge at all! I just used this yesterday for the first time at the pool and honestly I was so at ease and comfortable! I love the drink holder and the clear zip pouch for your phone/money/etc on the arms. Easy to fold/unfold with little to no effort. The only downside (and this didn’t bother me as much but other reviewers are noting) is that the carrying bag has “big and tall” text printed fairly large across it. Honestly, I don’t care but I can understand that some wouldn’t want that printed so promptly on their chair bag. Good news is that its only on the bag, not the chair! For the price and peace of mind knowing the chair is sturdy and my hips aren’t getting squished out like regular chairs this is a total win for me. Will buying 1 more so we have a set of 2!
