Out of the box this chain looks and feels very, very cheap. I wasn't expecting a high end gold chain at all, but for the value I've had plenty of chains in this range that were a lot better quality. This chain is stiff and kinks up every 3/4" or so, and especially at the center of your neck. It will absolutely not lay flat, no matter what. I can't even get it to straighten out enough to put it on correctly. There's no way I'd ever wear this chain out. I'd be so embarrassed having this on hanging the way it does. It's literally the worst chain I've ever seen in my life and looks like it came out of a gumball machine.

My husband is horrible about ripping his necklace off with his shirt and breaking the chain. This is the fifth replacement we have tried and so far its held up. He's been wearing it for a few weeks and hasn't managed to break it yet. It still looks just as shiny and nice as it did when he first put it on.

This is the second chain I’ve bought that broke—the clasp came off the chain. I’m careful with my jewelry and remove it when working out, but this one still fell apart while I was just sitting at my desk. I loved the feel and weight, but unfortunately the durability is poor. It didn’t last even a month, and having two chains fail the same way makes me question the overall quality.

Chain came apart in a few months. Don't waste your money. Update: The seller reached out and offered a refund and assured me that the chain I received was defective. I am upgrading to 3 stars from 1 because of their customer relations. I plan to purchase a replacement with the refund and will update again accordingly.
