My son has a full head of dark brown/black hair, between fine-normal; mostly straight. He wears it feathered back on the sides, surfer style. We needed something to hold his bangs up so it wouldn't keep going in his eyes - this worked perfectly! We tried the gel version first - it's good for styling, but doesn't have holding power. This comes out like a soft paste, but is not too tacky, and it's very easy to use. Lasting power is what you'd expect: better than a gel, not as long as a product made for spiking. We live in Hawaii, humidity didn't have a negative affect. We will def buy again. =)

Works really well for little ones! I live in a VERY humid, hot climate and this gel keeps his hair in place. Only downside is I think it’s a little expensive but I’m sure it will last a while.

A little hard to get it to hold when wet with water first, but works great once dry. I let it sit in my son's hair for a few minutes before styling his mohawk. I started combining with a hair paste wax to get the best of both worlds.

Like so many hair products I’ve tried. I’m trying to find one that has super hold and it just doesn’t. If you’re looking for a medium to light hold, this is a great option. The kid broke after a week too which was a bit disappointing.

We started styling my 2 year old's hair into a faux-hawk, so needed something with hold. Most of the child-focused hair care products sounded as if the hold would be medium to weak. This "glue" provides pretty decent hold, so works well enough for our needs. Adult products would work better, but will use those when he is older.

This gel has a decent hold but it makes my sons hair look ashy. It doesn’t flake so I do like that only downside is if you use to much it definitely has an ashy look to it after a couple hours

It's underwhelming. Just stick with gel. I bought it because I read good reviews. Perhaps it worked on a kid that sits all day without moving around. I would not buy this again. It also makes the hair look white. I should probably just go ahead and throw it away rather than take up space.

This is finally the product that will hold my sons hair!! Yay!
