Wearable Hooded Blanket for Kids - Kids Wearable Blanket Hoodie - For Boys & Girls

This was the one and only gift my 5 yr old daughter wanted for Christmas. It looked cute when we took it out of the box. She immediately washed it and we did our best to dry it. That means we spent our Christmas morning blow drying a stuffed animal that looked like it was caked in wax, or something else...use your imagination. It looked gross and after 20 mins we decided to let it air dry. 12 hours later it looked like the first picture. Basically a 25 cent toy that looked like it was hit by a car in the rain. We then ran it through the washing machine and dryer, not recommended but what other choice did we have? I, an adult with other interests than taking care of a stuffed animal, brushed it for far to long only to produce a stuffed animal that looked like it fell off a tall building only to land in a puddle and be “adopted” by a stranger. If you like your money, don’t buy. If you don’t, then it’s the greatest thing 20 bucks will buy. Just plan on spending a lot of time with a small plastic brush in your hand.

My son has several of this style wearable blankets and this one is nice because he can actually put his arms in the penguin arms.Edit: I ordered a new penguin to replace the first that was purchased 2-3 years ago- so obviously the original was well made. This one unfortunately has sections of the seam that are coming apart. I’m unable to just exchange it since I guess there are no more eligible for Amazon prime (I ordered this specific animal/style he has because it was through Prime). I’m hesitant to return this one and order another replacement from a different seller since returns aren’t always the easiest with 3rd party sellers and would also take longer to arrive . 🤷‍♀️

Unfortunately my 8-year-old son wouldn't have anything to do with this blanket/costume. He loves turtles and wanted to be one for Halloween but didn't want a store bought costume. I thought I was smart and took the blanket out of the packaging before I gave it to him. I even took the packaging to work to throw away just to make sure he didn't see it because it had pictures of young kids on it. Well it didn't matter because he deemed the blanket "too babyish" anyway.So I gave the blanket to his 2.5 year old cousin for Christmas. Well his 4 year old cousin got a hold of it and wouldn't give it up. It was one of his favorite presents and he ran around with it on for the rest of Christmas.The blanket is very well made with nice details in the shell. I guess I'll be looking into different animals to replace the stolen gift for the younger cousin.

This is a great gift with lots of possibilities. An alternative blanket to cozy up with... lion can keep nightmares away or just be fun to nap with. Then there are endless dress up and game options. While it clearly fits a grownup, a two and a half year old can also run around with it on too, with it dragging on the floor a bit.This’ll be years of fun.

My nephew absolutely loves this! It is generous in size, very soft, medium thickness so that it is warm and still plush. The colors are nice and bold and the print nice. It appears well made but too soon to know. He wears all around the house and even during breakfast. He absolutely loves it. It is a bit expensive at approx. $25.00, but after seeing how much he continues to love it... it was worth every penny!

I bought this for my 6 year old granddaughter and she loves it. I was concerned it may be too small to wrap around her but it fits her perfectly with plenty of room to grow. It is very soft and well made- definitely a blanket she will sleep with every night for a long time.

Ok quality. Ended up with a small hole in the bottom after only having it a few hours. It simply came apart on one seem and i was able to fix it. My three year old really wanted a penguin (no idea why) so that is what he got. We bought the snuggy version for my older son and it was a little better quality. This penguin is super cute though. He can put his feet in the bottom and arms in the fins. He is in love with it. I would recommend this if your child really wants the penguin too!

Gave this to our son for Christmas. He loves it, thinks it's great. However, less than a week after giving it, seems starting breaking open on the mouth and paws with stuffing coming out. we can stitch it up, but a shame we have to do that after just a week of relatively light use.

Xmas gift for my 9 year old grandson, very pleased with it. He will love the fact that it has a hood. He has had a similar blanket for a few years and has loved it so much it is falling apart. I am sure this one will be an equal success.

I ordered this blanket for my grandson's upcoming birthday. Although I haven't given it to him yet, he's really into sharks and I know he will love it. It's a nice and cozy fleece so it will be perfect for him to curl up with in winter. It also arrived promptly.
