Scubapro Snorkel Vest - Awesome product !!
This snorkel vest worked extremely well and I recommend it highly. I'm not a strong swimmer and it provided me with added security. It was very comfortable, fit well and was extremely easy to adjust depending on the buoyancy I wanted. Worth every penny !!

Best Vest
Bought 2 of these for my wife and I for snorkelling the Great Barrier Reef over Christmas. Chose them as the only sensible alternative to ghastly life-jacket style things available from other suppliers. They look quite smart (almost stylish), so you don't feel like the odd one out when others are wearing rash vests. You may still need a rash vest or other protection from sun, because we both got sunburnt shoulders and upper arms. You may only need a little of the inflation (or even none at all because of the slight bouyancy of the vest itself) and it really helps to give comfortable flotation without effort. And keeps you comfortably warm too.I agree with other reviewers that you should get a "tight fit". It may seem too tight to zip up at first, and you may start off feeling a little squeezed, but you'll get used to it quickly and not be at all uncomfortable.Good quality construction and easy to use.My only negative comment is that, even when the vest itself is a good tight fit, the inflatable panel does ride-up a bit because, although it's stitched to the vest at the shoulders, it's more loosely attached to the vest by elastic straps at the waist so it has some free movement separate from the vest there. Oh yes, and the velcro fastened "pocket" at the bottom of the front panel is too small to hold anything much.Overall, a great product.Shame it's so expensive, and be ready to pay an extra £25 or so of import tax to the shipping company on delivery.

Wonderful product
I have had this for a short time now and have had a chance to wear it snorkeling before doing a review. I have this as a men's small and it works perfectly for me. I normally wear a woman's medium/large in tops. I also wore a dry fit short sleeve top under it ....over my swim suit. It fit fine. The neoprene covers the back which is great protection from suns rays for the time I spend in the water snorkeling. That can be easily several hours. Sometimes the vog here in Hawaii can have an asthma like effect on my breathing without warning. This can tire me easily. I love the ease of blowing the vest up out in the water. It stays inflated for any length of time I spend in the water. It is a safety precaution for me if or when I may need it. Vest is heavy duty and did not rise up under my chin. The ease of getting in and out of the vest is great. There is a nice zipper off to the left side and also there is a Velcro strap closure to help keep the zipper closed. I took much time looking into something durable and well made for the amount of time I spend out in the warm waters of Hawaii. I definitely recommend this vest. You can inflate and deflate easily. It does not lose the air. It's nice sense of security. Very comfortable to wear. I did not care for the horse shoe types that fit around the neck and has straps between the legs and the sides of the waist. Not fun. If you want comfort and durability I recommend this vest.

Almost Perfect
I bought this vest based on reviews I read. I was going to be snorkeling off a dive boat in Dominica, and the dive shop required the snorkelers to wear a vest. I didn't want to use the shop's life-vest type vest. This vest is great in that once you have it on, it's comfortable and it doesn't interfere with swimming or moving. The one downside is that it will float up around your head when inflated. Before my trip, I went to the local fabric store, bought a set of mitten clips and a length of 1" woven fabric tape and built a "crotch strap." I clipped one end to the bottom of the back of the vest, donned the vest and clipped the other end to the front of the vest. The crotch strap prevented the vest from floating up. I got compliments from the dive shop crew on my "cool" and stylish snorkel vest.
