I am using the book with a teacher. WE work through the chapters and she adds a lot more of her own teaching. The book is well planned and together with the CD s it is a good learning aid. No book is going to suffice on its own, but if this is all you have, I think it will be a good start to learning Italian. Tip..Use each chapter as a base to writing and speaking your own sentences.. expand on each chapter using the vocal etc.

These CDs are very good. I originally bought the cassettes and book, and I could have bought the CDs, so was lucky to still find them. Although it's extremely good, it's still very important to learn the grammar, in case you need to alter a phrase or sentence etc. The only thing missing is exercises on the actual grammar. It's important to look in the back of the book for all the grammar rules. However, I listened to these CDs on the way to and from work and when I last went to Italy, I remembered most of the phrases. I also read the book for 30 minutes every night before going to bed - the best way to remember anything!I would highly recommend the CDs - also buy the book if you can still find it.

At the moment I am struggling to understand the CDs as they talk so fast! I expect it will get easier in time.

Lets start off on why I like it, It was an amazing additon to the coursebook & it has been helping me greatly with my Italian but when it was delivered it was broken, the case of course..which was a big shame. The product works fine I just question why the product was carelessly delivered or prepared.

I purchased this Audio CD to match up with the Buongiorno talia Course book. Its a nightmare to navigate as I haven't found how to move from track to track. They do claim to be designed to be used together. The content seems good - when you get to the right point.

You have to have the course book too. The CD progresses very quickly and although with the book it is OK not much good on its own i.e. in the car or situations where you want to use the CD on its own. I had expected more opportunity to interact with the CD and there was some but not nearly enough.

Still working my way through the book and only on 1st cd. Bits in between the dialogue section are difficult to find in the book that are played on the cd maybe its just me. Still worth a go
