McGuffey's Primer Flashcards, Helps & Hints: A Practical Guide to Understanding the 19th Century Mind

I bought this solely for the flashcards. Unfortunately, they are printed on regular (very thin) paper, there are different words on each side, and they don't even line up correctly to cut out.If you want helpful hints for using the McGuffey primer, I am sure this would be fine for you, but if you are looking for flashcards, keep looking - this is not what you want.

This is an excellent source to use along with the McGuffey readers. Sherry Hayes never disappoints with her wealth of knowledge in using the McGuffey readers.

I found these resources to be very helpful . I already used the eclectic curriculum and mcGuffey readers so when I found out about these I ordered them . I found them beneficial and well worth the cost

Great for beginning readers!

I really enjoyed this book. It has a lot of great advice and information. The printables are great and I will definitely use them in our homeschool! This is not a manual on how to use the readers but offers great hints and helps as the title says. My only wish is that I had this book 2 years ago and I knew about all this great information then!
