I ordered these shorts in taupe in size small and am relatively happy with them. The color is great, they wash well, and they're very soft and comfortable to wear. I like that they have both pockets and belt loops, as I often wear some sort of belt while backpacking to counteract my pack riding my shorts down where the waist belts meet. These shorts are not lined, so bear that in mind if you plan to do a lot of sitting or stretching in them. I have a 25" waist and the size small is on the larger size for me, which is accurate according to the size chart. I am disappointed that there are not smaller sizes available.

Black, true to size, comfortable, and can be used for the gym OR going out!What's not to love?!I'm going to Italy this summer and I can only bring a carry-on bag. These shorts will be so perfect!I can bring several tops and sandals plus my trainers and be set!I'm a size 8 and bought the Medium. They fit perfectly. Very flattering.I want them in other colors!

REALLY like these shorts and I think they're going to be very versatile. The elastic waistband is easy to fit and very comfortable. I have a larger rear end compared to my waist so it's often difficult to find pants or shorts that fit correctly. These do!They also have pockets. The review could probably stop there. But...The inseam is long enough that, while they're nowhere near Bermuda shorts length, they don't inch up between my legs.The fabric is thick and feels like quality. I'll definitely wear these for working out, for yard work, and probably even to run errands. They look so versatile!

Too tight in the thigh area and not flattering if you are not skinny and trim. Not a fan of them.

I'm short and stocky with a few extra pounds. I ordered a medium, which fit and still have plenty of extra room if I put on a few extra pounds over the holidays. These are soft and comfy. However, I find the slightly pleated front to be very unflattering for my body type. If you are already long and slender, these will probably look nice on you. If you are short legged with a bit of a mama's lower belly, these will likely not look on you like you hope they will. I'm disappointed because I really do like the look and feel of these, but they just aren't right for my body type. Another positive is that I think these could be worn as regular, daily shorts; they don't necessarily look like "Athletic Shorts", so if you are thinking you might like these for daily wear, you will. Just know that you need a little more leg and a little less chunk for these to look as nice on as the picture.

They fit, and don't fall off, but the legs are loose enough to move around in. The material dries quickly when it gets rained on. It's holding up to my use so far, and it's working well for bike riding. I would like the pockets a little deeper, but at least it has them.
