Game changer!
Amazing! So simple but literally a game changer when it comes to sealant tubes... Put mine in a hole in the gun whilst I'm using the sealant so it's always there to put back on when I've finished. How much time have I wasted fishing out dried up sealant over the years! The screw on caps are useless as they never go back on properly, this fits every time and clears out easily if you get sealant all over it.

Handy, but quite pricey
If you're keen on DIY, it's likely you'll have a several tubes of silicon seal, mastic, builders adhesive etc. opened but not all used. This caps are designed to slip over the nozzle and prevent the contents solidifying between jobs. They taper so all sizes of nozzle should fit are are ribbed (Oh, Matron!) so you can pull them off.Bear in mind a pack of 10 nozzles with caps (https://www.amazon.co.uk/Pack-Silicone-Tube-Nozzle-Caps/dp/B01N5D697P) can be had for £3.80. However, with more suppliers using non-changeable nozzles, these have a place.

They work, no more binning of unused hardened silicon
I was sceptical about these sealacone things. But now I have tested them for about 6 weeks on a tube of silicon and it's still fresh and usable. I'll be telling all my friends to get a set. Worth the money I'll never need to bin unused hardened silicon again. Now about 3 months since buying first set of these Sealacones and I now want a second set. They keep all but a very small plug of the silicon in the tip usable.

Fantastic idea, saved our family wasting sealant and glue
These caps are so handy! I ordered them for my husband to use on some sealant we had open and they fit perfectly, I also used one on my kids liquid glue, its perfect! No more dried up glue and unhappy kids, these are so useful and really good to help reduce waste and tackle our environmental issue with wasting plastic.

Great money saver
Like many home users I buy tubes of sealant or adhesive, I use them for a small job and then put them back on the shelf where they may sit for months before I need them for the next job. Invariably the cap does not sit snugly air gets in and the result is a long spout filled with hardened material that has to be coaxed out with a screwdriver and nail. Sealacone has fixed that problem for me, the flexible nature of the device means that air is excluded and I can use the tube over and over again. One tip however is to make sure that you take the pressure off the gun before you put the Sealacone on or you will find that it will slide off, I learned that lesson very quickly.

Did not work
The Sealacone Saver Cap did not work for me after 1 day. The nozzle was wiped clean before use and the cap applied as per the instructions. I had to change to a new nozzle as some silicone had cured. Received a standard reply from Sealacone, which did not help me.

Great!
Why didn't someone invent these years ago? Brilliant! I've just unpicked the tape around the end of my tube of mastic (not easy and not airtight) , used it and when finished, just wiped the nozzle end and popped this top on.Immediate grip, seems airtight and no messing about. The say it's good for up to 2 years - who knows - but if it lasts 6 months, I'll be delighted.Very clever.

I was sceptical.
I knew that in theory this should work. But like most of us I have tried plugging the spout, wrapping clingfilm around it etc etc. and I have never had great success.However. This works very well. I opened a tube of grab adhesive, used a bit, popped one of these on and about 4 days later the contents was still viable. So very pleased !!
