Through innovated engineering and vigorous testing, we have successfully designed a track system that can easily withstand the constant stress and abuse when operating within some of the harshest environments, resulting in a reduction of operating cost and minimized downtime. One important design feature that sets Prowler Rubber Tracks apart from our competition is known as Flexural Strength Technology. During the molding process, the outside circumference of the track is made with a harder rubber that is very gouge and abrasion resistant, while the inner circumference is made with a slightly softer rubber that is more flexible and less likely to split from constant motion, climate changes, and consistent engagement with the machines undercarriage components. The tread on our Rubber Tracks provide excellent traction for increased efficiency. And because the entire track is made of all natural rubber compounds and highly durable synthetics, they will not wear as quickly as other brands may. In 1998, Prowler's production facility began manufacturing the annular splice free continuous steel cords that enhanced our rubber tracks overall quality, strength, and durability. For increased protection the inner cords were also wrapped in vulcanized rubber.
