solid well built small easy to install and connect to wifi camera. Very reliable and battery last long time, can attach a solar panel if you need , picture quality is only 2k its good, has ability to record in time lapse mode min setting is 10 seconds. I wish they make a 4k version of this soon, as I would be very keen to see that quality.

Perfect for catching neighbours cutting your flowers!The video quality is far better than I expected, the night vision is great.You have to play with the detection settings to find the right balance of catching the motion you want and not have it send alerts 24/7. This also has a big effect on the battery life, with the detection interval and record time turned up quite high expect to charge every 4-8 weeks(or wire it in/get the solar).The human detection works ok, but could be better, it doesn’t offer detect a car arriving or leaving my driveway without someone walking clearly in front of the camera, Thais could be better.App is easy to use and the notifications as very useful. Would recommend to anyone!

I have purchased 2 other different IMOU products and they paired without issue and are currently working well at this moment in time. This one however just absolutely refused to pair with the app or my Router. I really cannot be bothered to spend hours trying to get it paired and why should I as it should work straight out of the box. I have to say I do not think much of their QA, and I also could not get hold of anyone to discuss. I shall be looking at another Company for any further Security cameras, which is damn inconvenient as I would rather like to control all my Cameras from the one app.

I waa going ro return this because the app wouldnt open after i installed it, but i tried on a different device and it now wirks perfectly, excellent quality, you can record video and take photos from your mobile or tablet. It also has 2 way mic so u can hear and speak through ig. Def worth money.

The CCTV itself is great. Good quality and the night mode is great. Easy to place on windows or drill into a wall. However, the major failure here is the product itself. If you change your broadband, you may as well throw out the CCTV. We’ve changed our broadband and the CCTV will not allow any new broadband. I’ve spoken to the company & to say that they’re unhelpful is an understatement. They have fobbed us off and gone around the houses. I’ve asked simple questions and it is clear that the CCTV will only have 1 broadband. No hard factory reset or anything. It’s a shame as the price is decent and quality is good. But customer services is crap and it is of no use if you can never change your broadband if you want to keep using the CCTV.

Keep in mind local storage is only 4GB!5. **Timelapse Fun:** The timelapse feature is a bit of a gimmick, but it's surprisingly entertaining to play around with.**Cons:**1. **Siren Letdown:** The siren is a bit of a party pooper. It's not loud enough to send intruders running – more like a polite warning than a deterrent.2. **Audio Needs Work:** 2-way audio is okay, but the sound quality could use a boost. Sometimes it's like talking through a tin can.The Imou 2K is a budget-friendly, easy-to-use outdoor cam with a few quirks. Great for the basics, but if you're expecting a powerhouse, it's a bit like a friendly guard dog with a not-so-scary bark. Worth a shot if you want a simple setup without breaking the bank.

Let me first say that the picture quality on this camera is excellent, the best I've seen, but this is let down by the poor detection. It's OK for human detection but no good for smaller things, like dogs or cats. The LEDs on the camera don't seem to follow the instructions when charging, it indicates it's charged when it's not. I had to leave it on charge for 24 hours to get it to charge to 100%.
