Set up was easy, all functions work, but peculiar smell when operating
I ordered this and got it two days later. It was well packed, and after unboxing, assembly/setup was pretty easy. I did check to make sure that the fuel like was not kinked or smashed, as some have mentioned this in reviews in other similar heaters. After fueling and priming the heater, it started up, with a good heat output. I had the Bluetooth option, and was able to pair with my phone, and Bluetooth appears to work as expected. I also paired with the included remote, and found that I could control the heater from inside my house (I mounted it in my workshop). I'd give the heater an initial 5 stars, but I found that once it started, there was an odd odor - something like burning or very hot plastic, and I got a headache. I'm going to get a CO monitor and see what that shows, but I don't have any other symptoms of CO poisoning. I think that there may be some kind of oil or other contaminant that is getting burned off, so if things improve, I'll update this review. I've also sent a message to the vendor to see what they say about it. Overall, it seems to be working well, but the smell concerns me. [edit 1/21/25] I upgraded to 5 stars - the smell went away after a few hours of running. Also, fuel consumption was low - I have run mostly on high for a couple of hours to get the shop warm, then drop to level 1 or 2 for when I'm working. After several days of this, with outside temps in the teens at night and mid 30's to mid 40's during the day, I still have used only about 2/3 of a tank of fuel. I probably have 12+ hours of runtime, with probably 8 hours at high level. It is so nice to have a warm shop in which to work!

Works great with correct power supply.
I needed this to plug into a 120 outlet. I bought and returned so many power supplies and the thing just would not run. Kept getting errors. Finally I purchased the right sized power supplies and converters and wow does this thing put out some heat! I didn’t smell any diesel fuel whatsoever. Nice heater.

Works great, finding app is troublesome
The heater itself works great. Warms up in a hurry. The plastic vent hose fittings are a little brittle though. Finding the app is a pain. I'm pretty tech savvy, but after downloading several apps and eventually downloading what I can only describe as a Chinese play store to find an app that would work. It does sync up pretty quick once you search it, but you have to do it each time. Also when you tell it to search, that part is in Chinese, so I was just guessing which button was search. Once it is synced though, you can change the temp to fahrenheit and it does work well to start and adjust the settings. Now isn't an issue, the higher the temp, the more the fuel pump clicks to push fuel. I can't deal with diesel smell cause of my migraines, but I didn't get any smell from start up or while running. Overall a 100 ish for a heater, it works great. Warms up in a hurry, double car garage that's mostly insulated in single degree weather in Montana.

One of the best built Chinese Diesel Heaters I’ve seen
It’s no Espar, but the ChuBu Diesel Heater All in One 5KW/8KW 12V-24V Portable Diesel Air Heater with Muffler, Remote Control, LCD Monitor, & 4.5L Tank is a great value. The only downside is the same green hose used by a number of suppliers which everyone should replace before the first use. Rigid case. Great intake, output, and exhaust hoses. An effective air filter with a real element. No sharp edges. Good quality workmanship. An excellent rubber shroud to dampen the fuel pump’s clicking. A wiring harness instead of separate wires. Even has a clip on the fuel hose to keep it in place. Unfortunately, it turned out to be too tall for my application because of the way I routed the exhaust. A great product despite my inability to use it in my camper.

Did not work out of the box
I work with this type of heater in big trucks. I am familiar with how the operate. The heater did not work out of the box. The first thing I found was the pump not working because the plug wasn't clicked in. After fixing the pump, it still wouldn't fire. The control board was bad. I got another board and it fired up. My other problem with it is the poor quality fuel line. It has a soft fuel line, should be a hard line. Air pockets build up in the bend. Next time I'll buy a different brand.

Junk but it works
It’s pretty much junk but it works if it’s happy. Watch the exhaust on this thing it gets really hot and will melt stuff

Unbelievable for the price.
These things work so well I can't believe how little they cost. Super efficient but not terribly quiet, but not bad for the heat they put out. I bought a Dewalt 20v battery receptacle and a transformer to get it down to the 12V necessary for the heater and it'll run about 2.5 hours on a 5AH battery. Perfect for portable heat anywhere.

Efficient and cheap to operate.
Works great, heats on the smaller side 2 bay garage. Heater outlet hose is a bit cheap, but other than that main unit works super well.
