Q: Is this like the Hand Wash? I have the Hand Wash and love it but am running out and it's discontinued. Trying to find a replacement.

I have never used the hand wash, but I bet this is pretty much the same thing. It is a good all around soap, which I lather up in my hands and put on my face for shaving soap. It works just like hand soap, and smells great.

Q: To the manufacturer: what does 80+ refer to? is that the methylglyoxal level of the manuka honey? that wouldn't be that high. maybe umf 5, if so.

80+ refers to the assessment of purity using the manuka pollen count method pioneered by the Airborne aipiary in New Zealand.

Q: Does it really smell of pure honey?

It has additional fragrance as the aroma of pure honey is not strong enough to serve as fragrance for the product.
