My research indicated NAC helps with tics, skin picking. My son has been doing that for years. He’s 26. He’s been taking NAC now for about 2 years & I definitely see I difference, definitely less skin picking. But of course, always check with your dr before starting any vitamin.

Let me start by saying these have made a difference in the debilitating muscle cramping I've been having all over my body. I still have it, but it's manageable and doesn't make me cry or so I can't move. So, I'm really glad they were recommended to me. The less stellar: All the stuff I could find online about studies on NAC supplementation had the effective dose between 1200 and 1800 units per day. That means 4 of these gummies. That means you need two bottles per month. My pocket book can't take that, so I have to look for another source. A smaller complaint is that they have a weird texture. It isn't like any other gummies; there's no spring to it, just squish. I think that's probably because it's vegan (likely using agar agar instead of gelatin). Not a deal breaker, but just know that going in.

I don’t usually write reviews for things, but I feel the need to share that these taste absolutely vile. Indescribably bad to the point of needing to rinse my mouth out afterwards and there’s still a weird aftertaste. They smell like cheap energy drinks. It makes them almost unusable. That said, I do think they’ve been helping me. I have ME/CFS and frequent PEM episodes. Taking three of these has helped me recover faster and reduces the pain associated with it. I recommend trying NAC if you have ME/CFS, but choose a different form.

Took it for nervous picking at skin. It didn’t work.
