The best
Me and my other half consume quite a lot of protein bars as it easy to carry and have it at work. This bar's ingredients are just what I was looking for. Good quality of protein, sweetener and great taste.

Awful!
They look very plain and bland, but taste even worse than they look. They leave a nasty chemical aftertaste in your mouth, which is really unpleasant! They taste nothing like cherry Bakewell either, which was massively disappointing! The worst of all is; they refuse returns, so don't buy these unless you're looking to throw your money away. They won't take them back, but to be honest neither would I. Just awful!

Good nutrition, but the taste...
I read a lot about these bears, and they get very much compared to the Quest nutrition bars. However, I ordered the Double Choc Brownie bars, they have very good nutrition values. But I don't like the taste and the consistency. I will stick with the Grenade Carb Killas (which may be the best tasting) and the Quest bars.

good clean ingredients and taste
99.9% of protein bars on the market are just cleverly marketed junk food, but this reflex r-bar is actually pretty clean, the ingredients are solid and the protein comes from grass fed whey which you don't see often. Taste wise, the cherry bakewell flavour is up there with as good as its going to get for a clean protein bar, no artificial sweeteners or alcohol sugars, no vegetable oils or gmos. All round, much recommended.

A protein bar that actually uses whey and not soy but tastes horrible
Although this protein bar for macronutrient's is good and is basically one of the only ones I can find that doesn't use soy or another type of plant protein that lacks the necessary amino acids to be useful for muscle building, the taste is just horrible and it is like biting into a brick. If the taste and texture doesn't bother you at all and you just care about the protein and nutrition then this is a great source as it contains the useful whey protein for muscle building but for me personally the taste and texture just aren't worth the price to pay.

Good ingredients, not too sweet
These protein bars are made with high quality ingredients and avoid artificial flavours and colours. Unlike some other protein bars which do this, they also try to be low sugar and low calorie. This means that the taste is a compromise. In many ways that is a good thing because they provide good nutrition and taste ok without being really moreish. This means you won't end up eating the box in one evening!I tried three flavours from a shop before buying a 12 pack from amazon. The chocolate brownie was smooth, soft, mild tasting with small chocolate chunks. The chocolate peanut caramel was similar but with small bits of peanut (very few). Both were only mildly sweet and somehow reminded me a little of soft cheese in their flavour. The white chocolate raspberry flavour tastes sweeter and I thought that would make me like it less but actually it has less of a chocolate cheese flavour so I like it more. There are small white chocolate chunks and a light fruitiness to the bar. I think basically the chocolate flavour R bars just have a strange taste which doesn't quite work as well as the white chocolate.The texture of these bars is much softer than quest, the flavours much more muted and the chunks much smaller. R bars seem more aimed at people who really care about the nutritional value and the ingredients than having lots of snazzy flavours. If you struggle to stop yourself from munching on protein bars just because they taste awesome, these would probably help you.

Protein, Bar None
Let's face it. Some protein bars have such an evil effect on the stomach that you could use fly killer as air freshener after eating them. Not these bars.The Pros: (1) clean ingredients (2) stevia rather than sucralose (so no need for self-isolating - see above) (3) low calorie (4) high fibre (so very filling) (5) tasty (I buy the Double Choc Brownie flavour) and (6) value for money.Cons: Slightly short best before date (note that it is a "best before" not "use by"). And for those reviewers who think that they have received a moldy bar, look up the difference between mold and bloom. You're welcome.
