Skeptical at first, but works.
I was really concerned about price, and when I first set it up got bad signal and poor video making me even more concerned. I had checked the specs that is supported 60Hz for the resolution I wanted and would have been a deal breaker. But it just took a bit of keeping it powered on and it self corrected in < 2 minutes and is working flawlessly for 3 days now, switching back from my PC to Chromebook. So it must have just been the PC adjusting to this new device and maybe auto detecting wrong initially, but quickly realizing this and then auto correcting. I do have a physical remote switch with this unit. It did not advertise hot key switch, but on the bottom of the unit I received does show the keyboard short cuts. But the short cuts don't work with my mechanical keyboard. Which I think could be a compatibility issue some others have mentioned before. But my intention was to us the remote physical switch of which this was the only model to support.

UPDATE: Unit failed
Jan 25, 2022 update. Bought this in Oct of '21. This morning, unit failed to see keyboard on both PC's. Had to remove entire set up and go back to normal. Past deadline for return so now it gets returned to the trash can. Lasted ONLY 3 months! To be fair, the device works. I can also hook my Joystick to the USB port, and have it work on both PC's. The mouse and KB work on both PC's. Switching between the two there is a delay for "my" mouse to catch up, it's a Logitect gaming mouse. My biggest issue, is running an older game. Switching between the PC's while the same game is running on both computers causes issues, and crashes the game on both PC's. Before you say it, NO, I can NOT get updates to this game any longer, it's from early 2000's.Individually they work fine, I just can't change between the two PC's to play them both. Seems the game thinks the mouse and KB were disconnected, there for, causing a crash. As for updating bios or drivers, that has NOTHING to do with what's happening. The whole reason for getting this switch was to play the game on both PC's at the same time. At this point, it's not worth it to me. Before installing this switch, I could "Alt-Tab" between the game. The switch actually disconnects the feed between the PC's, had I known that I would not have bought it.I doubt this will help but if you have a newer game, it may work.

Freesync at 2560x1080 works! 2 computers and 4 ports, works great
I was reluctant to buy this KVM since it had no reviews, i took a chance and glad i did.In the box came 2x HDMI cables, 2x USB cables, and the remote (more in the remote later). Everything needed was in the box and saved me having to dig through all my boxes of computer tables to find what i needed for this KVM.I got everything connected with my gaming desktop and my software development laptop, i connected a Logitech Unifying Reveiver, a Mechanical Keyboard and a wired gaming mouse... everything worked flawlessly. Since this KVM has 4 USB ports and so far i have only used 3 the next step is going to be getting a USB Sound Card and then I can truly have a single solution for both my computers. As far as my setup, I connected the KVM to my computers and my ultrawide monitor and I placed it hidden in the cable space in my desk and i put the remote on the desktop. Need to mention that when both computers are powered on its kind of hard to tell on the switch which machine is the selected one since the LEDs on the KVM box, but on the remote is easier to tell. Finally, the most important thing to me was AMD Freesync. I have an RX580 videocard and a LG Ultrawide 2560x1080 monitor; my biggest concern was that Freesync would not work through the KVM... to my relief it works just fine!!! it connected my gaming pc to my monitor at 75hz and Freesync works perfectly!! now i do not have a full 2K or 4K monitor, thus i cannot speak to that, but for my monitor and the specific resolution it worked just fine!!!Glad i took a chance and bought this even though it had no reviews.

Great switch - worked for a few months
The switch lasted me 3-4 months before it finally stopped work. So I gave it 4 stars.Pros: The box that it came with and the extra hdmi cables that it came with was a plus.Cons:I used this for 2 desktop pcs at home. It was working fine. I didn't had any complaint except for how slow it takes to switch from pc 1 to pc 2. And also if you touch it the kvm switch lightly, the screen will turn off for a little bit and turn back on....It stopped working because I was swapping it in(the hdmi cable to the monitor) and out to my laptop pretty often. One day I was unplugging the hdmi cable on the switch to plug into a laptop, the switch decided to go reverse uno. The usb hub wouldn't function properly. When I plugged the switch back in to get back into my desktop pc - the usb hub malfunction. So if the light is on for pc#1, the usb would only work for pc#2. And if the light is on for pc#2, the usb hub would only work for #1. Yeahhhh, not sure how that happened.I tried to fix it by unplugging everything and plugging it back in, but that broke all the usb hub slots. Now I can't use any of the usb slows :O.I'm going to try out another product and see if it lasts longer.
