I recently picked up the Coffee Knock Box to make my espresso routine a bit more convenient, and so far, I’m really pleased with it. Here’s my review after using it daily for a couple of weeks: Pros: Convenient and Efficient: This knock box makes it so much easier to dispose of the used coffee grounds after making espresso. No more messy dumping or trying to scrape grounds out of the portafilter—just a quick knock and done! Sturdy Build: The knock box is made of durable materials, and it feels solid when you knock the portafilter. It doesn’t wobble or tip over, which is a big plus for me. Easy to Clean: Cleaning this knock box is a breeze. The interior is smooth, and the used grounds come out easily. I simply rinse it under warm water, and it’s good to go. Compact Design: It doesn’t take up much space on my kitchen counter, so it’s perfect for smaller areas. The design is simple and fits well with my other coffee equipment. Affordable: Considering how often I use it, this knock box is an affordable option that really enhances my espresso-making experience without breaking the bank. Cons: Can Fill Up Quickly: Depending on how much espresso you make, the knock box can fill up faster than you might expect. I find myself emptying it a couple of times a day, especially if I’m making multiple cups. Plastic Parts Feel Cheap: While the overall build is solid, the plastic parts of the box feel a little flimsy compared to the metal parts. It’s not a huge issue, but I was expecting everything to feel a bit more premium. Knock Bar Might Be Too Soft for Some: The knock bar does the job, but it’s softer than I expected. It works fine for me, but if you’re using a lot of pressure when knocking, it might feel a bit too flexible. Overall: The Coffee Knock Box is a great tool for anyone who makes espresso regularly. It’s easy to use, easy to clean, and affordable. While it may fill up quickly and the plastic parts could be sturdier, it’s a convenient addition to my coffee setup that makes cleanup so much easier.

Does the job

Excellent knock box for knocking out coffee grounds from my espresso machine. I really like that it is padded on the bottom and the bar is fairly weighted

Robust. Easy to empty & clean. Holds 4-6 used “pucks” before needing emptied out.

It's good, the bar does come off but if you hold it it's ok.
