WORKS PRETTY GOOD
My rescue dog has a damaged area in his eye (not a cataract) which clouds up over the entire eye. Since using this product the cloudiness is so much better. The damage can never be corrected but now he has a twinkle that matches the other eye. GREAT PRODUCT highly recommend

TRULY WORKS
I have a 13 y/o Weimaraner who started developing cloudy eyes/cataracts over a year ago. Seeing his eyes glazed over was so sad so I started searching for product on Prime. Read some reviews on this product (and always skeptical) but decided to give it a try. After three weeks, his eyes started clearing up and his overall energy was improved. His eyes cleared up 90%! Truly a miracle worker, and made Maks feel so much better. He's 85lbs and I give him 2 pills every morning with his food.Additionally, my grandmother had a 14 y/o Bichon who was experiencing the same thing (worse though...) running into furniture etc. After about a month, her eyes cleared up about 50% though the dog died 6 months later from cancer. I truly feel this product no matter how acute or severe it is will help. Natural ingredients, and quality, especially for the price. If you buy this, I guarantee you'll see results.

The tablets crumble easily during shipment.
First I want to say that this product is amazing! It helped our two mini schnauzers of 14,and 15 years old regain their eyesight like no other product could! We have been administering this same product to our shepherd for the last 5 years, keeping his eyes sharp. But in the last two years, the tablets have been compressed differently making them crumble easily; At the end of the bottle there is at least 1/2 to 1 teaspoons full of loss in each bottle. Please go back to the integrity of the prior manufactured product . Bottom line: life changing product, but tablets crumble easily during shipping .

Inaccurate ingredient measurements; SKETCHY!
Got this product because my dog was showing signs of early cataract development and I wanted to get a jump on it. After using it for 6 months, it may or may not have been working. Regardless, one day I came home and found that my dog had gotten into and eaten almost an entire bottle. I contacted poison control and we found that the amount of vitamin D in one serving, 3 mg, is a lethal amount for dogs. Both the vets at ASPCA poison control and the ER vet tried to reach the company to confirm the actual amount of vitamin D, but they were unable to. So, out of precaution, we did the lengthy and expensive vitamin D poisoning protocol to make sure that my dog was safe, since he had eaten a whole bottle. But, all in all, while the product was fine for 6 months, the company is sketchy and is obviously not being truthful about what is in the product. If there was truly 3mg of vitamin d in each serving, each dose would be lethal, and dogs would not be able to safely take it. So, while the ingredients LOOK good, they're probably fake. If you would like vision supplements for your dog, ask your vet.

will buy this again
I started my dog on Nutrition Strength's eye support supplement after he was diagnosed with diabetes, as most diabetic dogs become blind from diabetic cataracts within months of diagnosis. My dog's veterinary ophthalmologist said that this supplement can delay the development of cataracts in diabetic dogs. He said it was amazing and can really stop cataracts in dogs from getting worse and sometimes even improve. He said it also keeps perfectly good eyes in dogs of all ages from ever developing cataracts in the first place or getting glaucoma. The tablets are small enough to make them easy to give to a dog. I've read other reviews saying that they had problems getting their dogs to take the supplement but I've had no issues whatever, I didn't even have to crush them. It's important for me that this supplement is specially formulated for this purpose and is recommended by dog eye specialists. It provides support for dogs' eyes - it's not a cure, but support and helps for certain conditions. Furthermore, the bottle contains 120 tablets, which last for several months. So it's not expensive at all for what it does and if it helps my dog's vision, it's very well worth it. I will be keeping him on it.

She won't eat it
Pros:- Great price- Smells like something beefy a dog would eat (not stinky)Cons:- My dog won't eat itI have not used this product for long enough to know how effective it is. After trying various eye health supplements (in addition to her daily multi-vitamin), I decided to try this because of the good value and positive reviews. My minpin/chihuahua mix is 13 years old and I see some discoloration in her eyes. There has only been only one other eye supplement that I could get her to eat and that was in powder form. I had to mix it with peanut butter so that wasn't something I wanted to do daily. This bottle indicates that a dog of 25# should take 1 pill per day. Because she is 6-7#, I have been trying to feed her just 1/2 a pill, 1/4 piece at a time but she refuses unless I trick her by squeezing it into some other soft food. I'm thinking that the only way to get her to consume this pill is by either smashing them all up with the back of a spoon, or smashing them in a food (coffee) grinder and mixing them with peanut butter or sprinkling a smidgen on her food.In conclusion, because she won't eat it, I cannot recommend this products for your dogs eye health. If I am able to get her to consume them, and I do see a change in her eye health, I'll update my review. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I hope it was helpful.

Have made a huge difference for my 13-year-old Yorkie
This seems to really work for my 13-year-old yorkie who is losing his vision. He is much more active and happy when he takes these. It seems to take about a week before you will notice a difference. He has been taking these for several months now and his eyes also appear much clearer -- my hope is that they are slowing the cataract that is developing. My 5 pound yorkie takes half a tablet a day. I crush it up and mix it into his JustFoodForDogs fresh dog food in the morning. He must like the taste, he has never refused it! I would definitely give these a try if you're on the fence.
