I love the modern boho look of this shelf. It is 3 pieces cut at 45 degree angles and glued together firmly, but I do not think it could hold 44 pounds for long. It's holding around 20 on my wall now with crystals and picture frames. Overall good shelf for photos and nick-nacks.

Love these!! Very sleek, all black shelves. I actually only needed one shelf but appreciate the two that came in the pack. Wide enough to sit a few decorative pieces on it, in addition to the picture frames. Easy to put up/assemble. Handy man got it complete in 15mins.

Just hung today, easy to hang and looks beautiful! Seems sturdy as well.

PROs:•The material of these shelves feel thick and sturdy to me.•They are wide enough to hold some of my collectible statuettes and knick knacks.•The lip of the shelves keep my stuff from falling off. That's why I love these shelves more than traditional ones and I can honestly say that I would choose these over another shelf every time.•The shelves are not that heavy. Because of this, I was able to hang them using just drywall anchors and regular screws. I didn't need to screw directly into my wall studs at all. This will obviously be different for some other people but this is the case for me as I'm displaying very light weight collectibles.•The white color looks beautiful and bright up close. My camera really doesn't do it justice.CONs:•When mounting, putting in the screws can feel like a tedious task because the holes are difficult to access, especially with big hands like mine.•There are a few spots on the shelves where it arrived chipped. Dispite it not being very noticeable, it's still a CON for me.

Two things to consider with this product: that you drill the screws into studs and to take careful note of the weight limit. This shelf is only supported by screws (albeit crazy long ones) which you hopefully drill into studs). It doesn't have any bottom support or even angled ones so it will be very easy for the horizontal ledge to just break and tip over if you exceed the (hopefully) rated weight limit. Given that, these are a pair of nice simple shelves for you to display light items like light picture frames, small memorabilia, etc. You have around 4.5 inches wide of flat display area so you can put up figurines and models if their platforms are narrower than that. That's what I use mine for. I have quite a few figurine models and they look really nice up on these shelves.
