Mom's Place Gluten-Free Gluten Free Red Velvet Cake Mix Dessert

There is no way this cake is GLUTEN AND NUT FREE!!! My family has Celiac's Disease and peanut & almond allergies so finding delicious prepackaged foods is very difficult. This is the first item from this brand I have purchased. I will definitely be purchasing many more. It is soooooo GOOOOD!!! The texture, the flavor everything about this cake is delicious. I used coconut oil for the oil and real 100% grassfed butter. I also used Watkins No Artificial Dyes food coloring. I either didn't add enough coloring or the colors are just not that vibrant. My diet starts tomorrow but now I'm going to have to wait until we eat all of this delicious cake. Which shouldn't take too long, it's sooooo GOOOD!!!

I'm new to GF baking as my grandson was recently diagnosed with celiac disease. He requested red velvet cupcakes and I wasn't able to find a local bakery that made them so I went on a search to make my own. This mix was excellent, easy to make and I did add red food coloring as instructed. They were moist and delicious, I wish I had taken a picture. I will definitely order this again. Compared to what I had to pay at a bakery for a GF vanilla cake this was a real value, no one even knew they were Gluten free.

Best gluten free cupcake I've made. I did doctor the recipe slightly and subbed water with coconut oil but they were so good my picky non celiac family lived them!

I made this cake mix for my grandson who loves red velvet cake. It was disappointing in terms of taste and texture. It also required additions of multiple items such as vinegar and buttermilk, which I was happy to purchase. The mix wanted 1 TABLESPOON of Red Food Coloring. I opted not to add this item.I do understand that it is difficult to achieve a good flavor and texture with gluten free mixes, but this one just did not meet expectations.
