Don't judge a book by its cover - excellent product!
I bought a 2.5l bottle to cover 4 internal pine doors (two c.1.8mx0.8m, two 1.8mx0.7m), which all specified for water-based varnishes. I also wanted a low shine finish and really just wanted to seal the wood.Although this product's packaged in quite a modest way (not necessarily the worst thing in the world), it ticked all the boxes for me.It's very watery in application, and can splat around if you're not the most careful decorator (I'm not), but it goes on wonderfully well.Coverage is superb. It took roughly 5/8 of a bottle to cover all four doors, two coats. I could well have gone for a smaller bottle, having read other reviews, saying coverage was c.10m2 per ltr, but the rest will get used on other projects. It dries to the touch after around 15-20mins, depending on coat thickness, and goes off fully after a couple of hours. I left the doors overnight before closing fully. The finish, all importantly, is top drawer. Dries to a plastic sort of finish, very tough and with a light sheen. Two coats is enough to get maximum coverage, although this stuff goes on so well, you might get away with a single coat plus touch ups.I've nothing but good things to say about the product. Even value for money is good, as most similar household name products appeared to be more expensive. I'd definitely recommend.

So far so good!
We bought the Matt to varnish on top of Lick eggshell to give it a more durable finish on our staircase. It took two coats and you definitely need to apply thinly as drips tend to dry as little white blobs. It dries quite quickly so worth keeping an eye out!We chose it because it was low VOC which we required as I’m pregnant and we needed it to be less toxic and fumey. There was a little smell and we used a mask just in case.Hard to tell how durable it is after a few weeks, but so far so good and the finish is nice. It’s quite soft, so reckon it might chip given enough force but hopefully not!

Great in updating my kitchen cupboards; extremely happy.
Used this as a top coat on my kitchen cabinets; whoever lived here before me and a mess of them!Overall, this is a fantastic product. It goes a long way and was, for the most part simple to use. Just try not to go over parts you've already painted with it and there won't be a problem. Did two coats on a small kitchen and still have some left.Update: over a year later and cabinets are still going strong! No staining, yellowing and easy to clean or even scrub if needed. Plus I still have some of the product left from first purchase! No film or product separating. I am extremely happy with this product and will definitely be buying more!

Never heard of the brand, but don't let that put you off.
I was working on a project that had a finish consisting of various types of paint- gold enamel paint; water-based metallic paints; alkyd-based black satin paint. The project cost me quite a bit of money and hundreds of hours of effort so it was imperative that my work didn't end up destroyed. I was very concerned about varnish compatibility given that I was planning on sealing work made up of different kinds of paint and after a fairly long time tentatively considering more well-known brands I decided to purchase this on the back of the largely favourable reviews even though it looks like an unknown, small family business going by the name and the style of the packaging. However I'm very glad that I did. The product went on very smoothly with the foam sponge 'brush' that I used and dried quickly. There was enough in the bottle to apply a second coat and the varnish cured after a couple of days. There is no odour with this product as it is water-based. This formula also means that it will not yellow over time. I would definitely use this product again and would recommend it to anyone.

Long delivery not very ggod satin effect
Due to Covid had to wait 2 weeks, due 17th April. Supplier marked as despatched 12th April, but the courier showed this was not collected by them until 17th April. Arrived 22nd and had no communication from supplier. Very very easy to apply. I used both an air compressor and paintbrush.. It's quite runny and ran on low pressure. however, it was easy to catch the drips straight away and didn't cause a mess, so that was a big plus. Hardly any smell, big plus. Dried amazingly quick, big plus. Application and drying time then top of my list. (I upcycle an incredible amount) and by far the best I've used at this point. However, was very disappointed with the final finish, it didn't seem to have hardly any sheen and satin should have some! I also noted that the bits that were, were patchy, even though it had been applied with aircompressor. I also put four coats on, don't think you would need this many normally but I used air compressor lol. All in all it is quick and easy and I did like it but don't think it is worth the extra cost and also delivery times bought this down

Best varnish so far for dark stain
So I tried to upcycle our coffee table with a dark stain. I bought Littlefair's interior wood dye, which once applied was amazing. But I bought other varnishes that were turning foggy once applied, or had a silicon feeling to touch. Third time the charm. I bought Littlefair's varnish and the result is exactly what I wished for. Even though it's water based, it's thicker than other water based varnishes, doesn't smell funny at all and it dries quickly. Love it.
