Maille is known brand in France and also in UK. Love to use that spicy mustard with meats. Texture is classic as Maille Dijon mustard. But the original "Dijon mustards" are different than this brand. But one star gone for the price and product range of Maille. The product range in France is much better than the UK market. There are many different mustard blends and flavour's.

If you're looking for an alternative to English mustard on a Roast Beef or Ham sandwich, or a salad dressing etc. look no further if you haven't tried Dijon. I love it's sharp, almost lemony nip with the mid notes of wine and 'umami' and swear by it. The price of it is brilliant too and while it's this low, recommend it to all of you who love good food.

This mustard hits the spot. It's smooth, with a little heat and very well balanced, compared to some other brands which claim to be 'real'. This mustard is excellent for a vinaigrette. It adds a little depth to many sauces and it's excellent, as an accompaniment, to any any main dish. I live this with a steak and I usually add a small teaspoon to most roux sauces. It doesn't dominate; it adds depth and flavour.
