Pros and cons depending on what you are looking for
Sooooo I essentially bought this for the kickstand, and the cover was just a bonus which is why I picked this model. I originally had the spiegen case without a kickstand and it was great but realized a kickstand is necessary when setting it down for cutscenes. The issue is that the kickstand is sooo short that the smallest tap or uneven surface causes it to fall over, and it's a shame because literally just tiny bit more length and it would be perfect, the grip on this case is very strange, it's not rubber and it's not smooth, it's not silicone it's like a million little dots forming this strange prickly texture that translates into a grip, and strangely when your hands are holding it and not moving around, it feels comfortable and not prickly, I wouldn't really call it a grip texture tho, and I thought I'd hate it but it grew on me over the smooth texture of spiegen, and also it feels thinner and not as bulky in my hand as the spiegen, but I've noticed this case has less coverage on the bottom of the controller grips so if you have long fingers you may feel the edges of the case, spiegen was definitely more covered down there, also this case doesn't have power or volume buttons covered like Spigen does, instead it's a cut out which I don't like because it allows for dust and also you have to really stick your finger in there and press with a tip or nail to get to the buttons which makes it not as comfortable as the spiegen case when pressing the top buttons, also this case I noticed moving around a bit at the l1 and r1 buttons kinda feels like I'm pressing another button when it moves, since it's not as tightly fitting, and upon looking closer Spigen case has sticky tape right at that point to keep it flush and not do that, this case sadly doesn't have that addition, and finally the case cover, which is great for traveling but I find myself rarely using it as I'm not really traveling much. but it's a good plus to have as a back up, it's just since the kickstand is mediocre, and the cons are kind of outweighing the pros, I have to decide between another case, tweaking this one, or just keeping the spiegen and adding a sticky kickstand to that, It seems this case only made my decision harder.... Each case has pros and cons and I'm still unsure which one to pick but I really wish the kickstand was better as that's the reason I bought this one, I noticed a lot of other cases using this same kickstand, I would suggest trying one with a kickstand center top instead of bottom side seems those may work better at not tipping over. Because now my ps portal has fallen over and knocked around more times bc of using this kickstand than it ever would if I just didn't have it... For now I think I will keep testing this one out as I search around for another, as the kickstand works some of the time and I can try and tweak the kickstand a bit, and I don't think the indented power and volume buttons will be too annoying, but I do like how the case feels in my hand.... Soooo Would I suggest this case to someone?... I would say if you travel a lot then this is a great case for you, because the main focus is the hard cover, it's easy to put on and take off and it's great for protection, but if it's for a kickstand I say try a different one and if it's for a grippy texture that's rubbery prob not this one, try a silone cover if that's what you want, I just don't like those covers because the button cut outs feel weird to me and I feel like they can shift around a bit, never was a fan of the silicone covers, but this does feel light and not too bulky and is comfortable to hold soooo I'm gonna keep testing out the kickstand a bit before I make my final choice but it seems I'm going to want a sturdier one.

fairly nice ps portal protective travel case
This case is a bit bulky and hard to take on and off but definitely protects the device well. This is, in large part, to the massive (non form fitting) cover that goes over it. I really like everything but the cover as the back portion works well and has a decent folding stand at the back. The handles are comfortable and it fits the portal quite well, it's just a bit tough to take back off. Overall, I can still recommend it even with the cover as good way to protect your PS portal.

Excellent case for the portal!
I've been looking for some protection for my Playstation Portal and I really wanted something different than the normal zipper case that I need to carry around. I found this EJGAME case for the Playstation Portal and it was exactly what I was looking for.The back part of the case is a soft TPU material that stretches over the grips and screen really nicely. It took a little bit of effort to wrap around the screen which was a relief when it snuggly snapped over. Definitely a feeling of security. The grip is noticeable and extra grippy but not uncomfortable, even while holding in your hands for a few hours. The kickstand is a cool feature, especially since it can rotate and tuck into the body or swivel out to support the Portal. It's handy when you need to set it down, grab a bite or drink, etc.I was worried about the charging and headphone holes, but there is plenty of clearance for any USB C charging cable or headphones, so I was pleased.Lastly and my favorite is the snap on hard shell front cover. This snaps firmly over the Playstation portal and covers the buttons and joysticks perfectly. Finally I can snap a cover on and toss the Portal in my backpack with no fear of damage and it takes up less room than a bulky zipper case.Excellent case, amazing build quality, it's perfect. I would absolutely recommend this case.
