Haven’t even installed the pickets yet but I was pleased with the ease of installation. Not deducting stars for the cheap pull-string latch. Didn’t even try to use the screws or the bit. Second fence I built and for some reason couldn’t get my first one square. I used a skill saw for the first gate and a chop saw for the kit on the second gate. Had to double the weight of the fence because i needed another 1.5” to match the pickets because i changed the gate swing from outward to inward. Adding third hinge in the middle to account for doubling the 2x4 frame. Gets five stars because it’s the same price if not cheaper than buying two 90 degree braces. Is smaller than expected but so far holds up well. Expect all wood-framed / 4x4 gated to sag at some point, but I will be pleased if this kit holds up for 5 years, whereas the $50 three 12” traditional gate hinges failed in the same span of time.

I've tried my hand at making gates several times and they never look as good as I had hoped. This kit made the process so much easier! Everything came out looking professional and my double gate works smoothly.The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the string that comes with the kit was coarse enough that it kept catching on the wood and the closer wouldn't drop closed by itself. After a month, the string broke. I have since put a coated wire (like a bread twist tie) on in its place and that seems to work much better.I would not hesitate to buy this kit again and may consider rebuilding some of my other gates using this kit.

Absolutely perfect and easy to install. Barely needed the instructions as I just looked at the pictures and followed along. Based on prior reviews, I just threw the screws away and bought my own. This is a great product and I will be buying another one for a third date I need!

Effective design. Easy install. Time will tell, but for the cost I was impressed! Screws kind of suck, but that's an easy fix.

Well made, easy to work with.

After carefully examining my recent fence installation, I have noticed that the second side is not hanging correctly due to the offset welds on the hinge. Despite being square, it appears to be sagging already. Before moving anything to address this issu ande to ensure that the fence is installed correctly, I measured again . After checking again, the bracket hinges at the Weld was offset compared to the others, so three out of four matches. But unfortunately, the 4th I used at the top of the second fence caused it to drop considerably.
