Gerber Baby Cereal Single-Grain Rice Baby Cereal, 16 Ounce

Purchased this Gerber baby cereal single grain rice baby cereal 16 ounce container for my son to eat up until he was 2 years old. This is a good quality product that is safe for babies and toddlers to eat. I like how fine the rice is and the consistency when it is mixed with formula.This helped my son sleep through the night after he was 6 months old. Then after he was 1 I would give it to him with a fruit in the morning before his afternoon nap. People forget little ones do not have a lot of teeth and soft foods work good for the first 2 years. He always felt full after eat this baby cereal and did not have to eat every hour.

I started my daughter on this at about 4 months. I tried it sooner than that because it helps with gas.. but it made it worse so I waited a little longer. I mix it in her bottle with the formula. She loves it... It dosnt really keep her full like some baby's. She still wants her next bottle right on time. I give her one in the morning and one before bed time (she is 6 months now) and one feeding of baby food. the rest is formula. I like the flavored ones as well. nice introduction to baby food.Please nobody get on here and tell me about what you think about when where or how I should feed MY child and whatnot... okthanks.

If you have the storage space, it is good to buy this in bunk from Prime Pantry. The product is consistently good and tightly packaged so it doesn't get stale if you don't eat it quickly. Mix it with your favorite flavored apple sauce for a really yummy hot and quick breakfast. It's NOT just for babies.

Our little guy likes this. We mix in other purées, peanut butter or even just plain and it goes down easy now. A good starter food for baby

Great first baby food. Good to have on hand when transitioning to solids. Very plain- good to mix with breast milk or formula. I used this for my baby when she just turned 6 months.
