The Wizard of Oz: The Official Picture Book Hardcover – Picture Book, February 6, 2024

A lovely book for the young, and the Young-At-Heart, which most Oz fans are. There is not a lot of text, probably the perfect amount for a young reader. The illustrations are charming and stylized, and definitely owe a lot to the classic 1939 MGM movie version. I recommend this book as worth adding to the bookshelf of both the beginning and seasoned Oz collector.

I gave this book to my granddaughter for her fourth birthday. She loves the Wizard of Oz movie and can recite long passages of movie dialogue. She loved the book, which she wanted to have read to her multiple times during that first weekend. The story accurately follows the plot as depicted in the movie. The illustrations are colorful and engaging. I recommend this book for all young Wizard of Oz fans.

This is such a beautifully illustrated book! My 4 year old is loving the wizard of oz lately and I got her this book for Christmas. It’s so cute!

A great book for little kids with great art work for Adults to look at . This book is for fans of the 1939 motion picture of the Wizard of Oz . All the artwork takes into that movie . The characters remind you of Judy Garland , Ray Bolger , Jack Haley , Bert Lahr and all the rest .

My daughter is recently obsessed with The Wizard of Oz after hearing a story about it. I bought this book as she's not quite ready for the movie (she's only 4) and she is obsessed! We read this at least once a day and she's a Wizard of Oz expert at this point!
