This toy was a huge success with my cats. The lightweight rod is comfortable to hold. It has a retractable tip which makes it easy to store. This comes with two rods and a plethora of detachable, changeable lure tips. Most of the lures have feathers, a lot of them have bells and some have beads. One is a little feather worm which is great for my older cat - she's not much for the jumping but loves to chase the worm if I skim it along the floor. The feather tips make a great bobbing motion and mimic a bird very well if you move them along in the air. All of the cats got in on the fun and we enjoyed an hour of play - the cats would have happily played longer. The line that attaches the feather lures to the rod are very strong, the hardware is snag free and makes it very easy to change feather tips as you like. The rods themselves seem very sturdy and are lightweight enough that I didn't get tired swinging them around.

I have bought all kinds of toys for my new cat but he just loves the feather on a stick toys. So I bought this one which has a bunch of feather attachments and 2 fishing poles. A hit with the cat! I would tuck one end into sofa and let the fishing line with the feather dangle. It would entertain him for hours. And when he managed to RIP the feather off, I simply attach a new one.He did manage to break one if the sticks. Not sure how. Maybe help from the kids, but price is good enough to get another set so we have more fishing poles

Not our first purchase of these, won't be our last, I'm sure. They're not exactly indestructible (and you shouldn't expect that for something so inexpensive), but only one had the end cap come off during play; the rest broke either through heavy usage wear and tear (one of them), or me stepping on them (two or three of them). They are absolutely worth the money, particularly those that have the little bells on the toys because it really does make a difference.The only difficulty I've had with them is that the clasp thing on the end is hard to open (and may hurt a little if you don't have callouses on your fingertips), but that's an industry standard these days and absolutely not something specific to this seller. I solved that particular problem by just purchasing some steel lobster clasps (the jewelry kind are too flimsy, found here: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B077YLHQLG/ref=oh_aui_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and putting a clasp on the fixture at the end, then I can replace the feather teasers with ease :)

I love the swivel factor which allows the end piece to "fly," acting as more of a lure and providing greater entertainment for my cats! Not all feather devices seem to work this way. Some just seem to hang and drag and tangle. This one seems to be good about not tangling. I haven't had it that long and can't speak to how long the feather attachments will survive. That doesn't concern me that much as I've had cats that seem to love them down to the nubbins. Also, there are a fair number of end attachment choices. This set seemed priced a little higher than some, but I haven't been all that pleased with some of those other choices. I think this set is worth the extra bit of money. Overall, quite pleased as are my cats!

I run my cat around a ton with this thing whenever she gets feisty. Instead of attacking our feet or any other random object, she is always distracted by the feather birdies. I've been using the same feather tip for a couple months now and haven't had to swap in a new one yet (although some feathers have worn off).

Both of my cats love these. I like the fact that the 'string' is actually more like fishing line, so it is both light and transparent, unlike some other toys I've bought that use chain. Also unlike the other toys I've bought, these poles are somewhat flexible (sort of like fishing poles), which gives interesting action to the feathers. The only downside (and it isn't much of one) is that I had to use a needle-nose pliers to get the clip to open enough to attach the feathers. I can deal with that as long as it means the clip won't pop open when my cats are tugging on the feathers.

My kitten loves this toy! It’s a fishing pole that you can attach different toys to the end. It actually comes with 2 diff poles and lots of different toy attachments that has feathers and a bell on each one (which is exactly what my kitten likes). I wish I discovered this earlier and will buy toys like this here in the future - it’s so much cheaper and a better deal. The quality also seems to be pretty good! I totally recommend getting this for your cat!

Our cat loves this. As soon as she hears the Bell on the feathers she is in action ready to play. This is great for all of us. It allows us to get involved with play time with our cat and allows her to satisfy the hunting side.
