I’ve been using this flip clock for a little while now and it’s quickly become one of my favorite parts of my desk setup. The design is clean and simple but has enough character to stand out. The numbers are big and easy to read, and the wood base makes it look much nicer than the usual plastic desk clocks. It feels solid too, not like something that’s just for decoration. It does make a small click every time the minute flips. At first I noticed it, but now it feels more like background rhythm. I actually find it helpful when I’m working because it reminds me that time is moving without being distracting. If you need total silence you might not like that, but for me it has been fine. Charging is easy with USB-C and the battery life has been good so far. The alarm is straightforward and works, although I mostly use it just for the time. The brightness of the numbers is excellent for quick glances, and it stays accurate without me needing to adjust it. For the price I think it’s good value considering the build quality and the look it adds to the space. Overall I’m really glad I picked this up. It looks good on the desk, it works the way it should, and it feels like something I’ll keep for a long time.

Been using this clock for over a year now, so I can vouch for the following: 1. it doesn't keep perfect time (seems to lose 1-2 minutes every couple of months, but it's so dang easy to adjust the time that I don't mind this imperfection) 2. battery life seems to last about 7-8 months (my electrical-engineer dad says he could retrofit it to run on a USB cable, but the cordless option lets me move it around my living room whenever I switch out seasonal decor) 3. it does make an audible click every minute, but the human and canine members of my household quickly got used to it so the sound bothers no one 4. most importantly, EVERYONE who sees it raves about how cool it is! We bought it in homage to one of our favorite films, 'Groundhog Day,' and it still charms us as much as it did the day we started using it. One of my favorite home decor purchases of all time!

I absolutely love this desk clock. I love the all black sleek look and the stylish numbers that are super easy to read. It looks absolutely fantastic on my desk at work. I got ribbed for it by more than a few coworkers but I know they’re just jealous, as they asked me where I got it and how much I paid for it. Yes, this is a bit expensive but I think it’s totally worth it if you’re looking for something stylish and retro for your desk. The one thing I will say is it’s nearly impossible to set the time at first! I don’t know why but it’s so difficult. You’d think that as soon as you put the battery in the clock mechanism would start counting and flip the next number down in 60 seconds. This is NOT the case! As soon as I tired that method a few times I was so put off by when the number would flip down next so I timed it. There is no rhyme or reason to it! The first time I timed it the number would flip down at something like 72 seconds. I pulled the battery and tried again, the number flipped down at like 79 seconds. The next time something like 90 seconds! I tried and tried and tried but every time I did the result was the same: utter confusion! I even purchased the special battery that was recommended. There is no button or switch anywhere on the clock to start the time so I assume it has to be when the battery is input but it just doesn’t make any sense! I ended up having to just continue with this method for what felt like an hour! Something near 70-ish seconds prior to the top of the next minute I’d put the battery in and battery cover on and just hope that it would sync up. Finally I got it within a few seconds of accurate and I’ve left it ever since! Now that the time is (somewhat) synced within a few seconds it has stayed consistent with its “accuracy” as in, it doesn’t run slow or fast. Aside from this bit of a headache, I still find the clock to be a good buy as it was exactly what I wanted for my desk. Due to the headache of setting the correct time I’m going to rate the clock at 4 stars instead of 5. I hope this review was helpful to you in some way.

This clock may look simple, but it’s absolutely perfect! It has that retro-vintage vibe that fits beautifully in my TV area and really upgrades the space. It’s one of those little things you buy that just ties everything together — the cherry on top of the whole look. I love it!

As others have said, I loved it at first and got many compliments. However, a few months after having it I noticed that the numbers are breaking and falling off rendering it useless. Not to mention, there are no replacement parts so I'd highly advise staying away from this purchase. It's so disappointing that everything nowadays is simply made to be disposable.

I purchased this clock and it made loud clicks when the pieces moved for the change of the hours. I contacted the seller and they told me to return it and buy another. I did and the new clock had louder clicks on the changes of the hours. It also now made clicks of the change of half hour as well as minutes. It is a nice looking clock, but I think that you would not what it in the same room with you. It is annoying. It is heard from a few rooms away, but of course, not as much. If you want to keep it, you would need to move it to a location further away and where the noice wouldn't matter.
