When I first opened this, I was a little skeptical. The texture seemed thick and sticky and the smell was a bit strong. In water it has a bit of an earthly flavor, but not bad at all! & it mixed very well! I highly recommend putting it in your coffee, if your not a fan of the earthly taste. I had no taste of it in my coffee! & it definitely has given me more energy!

I’ve been using shilajit for awhile now & while the resin isn’t the best tasting it is tolerable. This is the first time I’ve purchased this brand & I’m not sure if I got a bad batch or if this is how the product is supposed to taste but it’s like drinking melted rubber with a hint of tar. I can usually manage taking something if it’s good for me & maybe doesn’t taste so good but it’s almost intolerable. I would not recommend this on the taste alone. It is awful! Of course it is not returnable. No other reviews that I’ve seen mention the taste, either in the minority here or there’s something off with what I got.
